The Thespian Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 21 Guns. It's a nice song lyrically, but there's something about it that makes me feel like it didn't deserve all the recognition it got. It feels like the kids these days know Green Day because of 21 Guns or something :| I don't know, there's just something missing. Oh, and Dry Ice.
Punx89 Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 I think :I want to be on TV,sweet children,take back
Hermione Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 If I read the words Take Back or Christian's Inferno in this thread again I'll lose all faith in humanity.
Wet socks traumatize me Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 Armatage Shanks Best Thing In Town Dry Ice I Want To Be On TV In the End The Judge's Daughter Private Ale Sweet Children Seriously? Wow. You spotted some of my favorites!!! Sweet Children, yeah, I don't really like it. Strangeland also. erm. I feel like they've been recorded in a freaking garage, they just sound... crappy. Take back is popular in this thread haha. I agree. Wake Me Up... overplayed. 21 Guns... just not a really good song. Know your Enemy... no joke guys, I don't think that's a really creative song. overall, I like 'em. If I read the words Take Back or Christian's Inferno in this thread again I'll lose all faith in humanity. oops. sorry.
xbox360ROCKS Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 I try to like Restless Heart Syndrome, but I just don't seem to like it, for some reason.
dookiegoeskerplunk Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 I often find myself skipping Brat. it's a great song but it makes me feel ungrateful about my parents. just cause i'm a college student doesn't mean i think the way Billie thought all college students do!
BringMoreKnives Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 See the Light. I think that song is like the reject of the album. i'm a horrible fan
Axel Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Pretty much all songs on 21'st CB, although I like Peacemaker a lot.
ScatteredPictures Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 I would say it's Misery. But i'm sure there are a lot of more songs. I'm new at this whole "Green Day-fan-thing" and like around 30 songs. So...
Bulletproof Heart Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Last Ride In. First time I heard it I was like Not a big fan of the whole Shenanigans album either, except Ha Ha You're Dead Pretty much all songs on 21'st CB, although I like Peacemaker a lot. Haha Peacemaker is the only one I don't like on 21st CB Never thought I was gonna read the title Jesus of Suburbia in this thread! My absolute favourite song for 6 years and for many years ahead!
groundpatty Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 "All the Time" off of nimrod. I dont know why. I dont hate the song or anything, and I'll listen to it occasionally, I just never grew to like it.
Poprocks_and_Coke Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 I don´t like Rest. It´s so slow and it´s uhm.. boring.
Uva Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 21 guns) have never liked it and I won't))) but sometimes I listen to it, it's not so bad but just not for me))))
haushinka reject Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Misery,21 Guns are probably the two I least like. I don't get the hate for Take Back, for me it's one of their very best and what punk music is all about.
Bulletproof Heart Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 Oh and American Idiot! (the song ofc, album's awesome) Have no idea why, it just never grew on me
Whatsername1911 Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 I dislike Hold On. I try to like Restless Heart Syndrome, but I just don't seem to like it, for some reason. Awww really? It sounds kinda like the Beatles though!
Pres Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Last ride in because it feels like something is missing and Take Back Edit: i think i've already said that
Robin105 Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Good Riddance, Strangeland, Best Thing In Town, thats pretty much it. Edit: Rotting and That's Alright even though that one is a cover
Blond-O-Sonic Shimmer Trap Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Good Riddance, Strangeland, Best Thing In Town, thats pretty much it. Edit: Rotting and That's Alright even though that one is a cover Blasphemy! Though I have to admit I have grown a bit tired of it, used to be my favourite song but since I have seen them three times and known they will finish with it and been on here and seen the "I had the time of my life" signatures etc I have grown fed up of it, haven't listened to it in ages. Loses it's individual meaning I think. I'm aware that sounds pretentious as hell but it's genuinely why I don't love that song the way I used to. Maybe one day it will make a comeback in my mind, like Boulevard Of Broken Dreams has in the last year or so.
Agentdeadpool Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 409 in your coffeemaker deadbeat holiday Thats all I can think of for the moment.
Ila Reto Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 every song grows on me at some point, but some of them i really need to be in a mood to listen to. like Sassafrass Roots, Babs Uvula Who, Good Riddance and Strangeland. but to say i still dont adore them, would be a stretch.
