I will send the can to one of the fans, simple as that. Tony is being a meanie and I want to give his can to someone else and be able to give him a taste of his own medicine. LOL

M1KEY won't send one, he doesn't love his fans like i do.

I promise I will send one! YOURS!!!! And what are YOU offering your fans, huh?? Nothing? I thought so.

I would like a GD full throttle can, but I'm not getting sucked into the petty fan page war to get it :P

I have less fans than all of you, you don't see me bitching about it :P

We weren't mean to you about it. Tony was rubbing it in my face (not in the good way). So I'm fighting back.

Tony is being mean to me about having more fans on his page than me... sooooooo........ I've decided to give the GREEN DAY FULL THROTTLE CAN I had put aside for HIM to one of YOU - IF you help me reach 200 fans before he does! Just click the link to my fan page below and "Like" it, and if I get to 200 before Tony, I promise I will send you a beautiful Full Throttle can with Green Day on it!!!

I would love to help, if I still had a Facebook, but I don't. Hmmm... I guess I could just create a new one so I can do this, so thats what I'm gonna do :)

I'm just listening to the podcast now! I wanted to say, I too am slightly disappointed about the choice of footage and recordings. I know they recorded the concert I went to and it'd be great to even just listen to some of the songs they sang. I recently went to an OK Go concert. OK Go records each of their concerts and then sells a $20 dollar flash drive recording of the concert online. I really wish Green Day did this, especially knowing that they have recorded most of these shows.

Pearl Jam has a tendency to release live CDs, and lots of them, from specific shows. It would be awesome to be able to have an official live Green Day album from the gig you went to, or to be able to pick one with the set list you love the most. I always thought it was crazy but awesome that Pearl Jam did that.

Yeah, Metallica does the same thing (I think I mention it during the show). They have the soundboard audio recorded each night, and professionally mixed, and it's up online the next day. You can buy basically a live CD of the show you were at for about 10 bucks.

It would be so awesome if more bands, like Green Day, did that!

I think Green Day sees more the value of releasing these as one giant "best of".

Didn't you talk about that in a podcast once? I distinctly remember you talking about that back in the earlier episodes about how that could be beneficial to the band if they did that.

It IS more exciting to have a 'best of' album.

I bet the Rev might be regretting not having a facebook account now.

It's more exciting, but I think it would still be exciting if they recorded each show and put it up for sale. I know Green Day isn't about the money, but it'd make them a ton of extra cash, and when an official "best of" album came out, we'd know it really was the best of all the shows. I'd want their choice of the best, plus a recording of the shows I was at to listen to and remember fondly.

agreed.

I have recordings of a few shows that I went to, and as much as it's great to have them, it's not so great having audience members singing along loudly in the background of the recording.

If half the people who went to Wembley were able to buy a $20 copy of the show, that's $800000

jeepers.
