Let me ask you guys opinion. What do you all think if I were to make Billie a little stuffed bear out of pom poms and make it kind of look like him and give it to him after the show? Do you think that's a good idea?

I say do it! What better excuse to go and approach him than giving him a cute little gift? Can't hurt, it's a nice way to show your appreciation and worth it just to see the look on his face haha.

If you do it, take a picture of it so we can see it :D

Those are some great pictures!

This thread makes me wanna cry ...

Yeah, I know how you feel. It makes me inexplicably happy yet unbelievably sad at the same time...I don't know exactly why.

For those who went to the show this past weekend, was Tony still in the Playbill or was Billie? They might not have the slips anymore when Billie is put in the Playbill.

Wohoo - I get to answer a question for you for once! Yes, Tony is still in the Playbill.

I haven't been to the show yet but I'll be there tomorrow, front row center seat, which I've NEVER sat in before.

I heard this past weekend either a lot of people left during good riddance to line up or they were already outside to meet Billie. When he did his run in Sept/Oct, it was chaotic every single night.... it seems to me that it is more mellow this time to get to try to meet him which is good for those who are coming out to see the show that have yet to meet him or the cast

I wasn't there in September, but it didn't seem mellow to me at all! Saturday night was crazy and the matinees weren't much better. It may calm down over the next while, but based on my experience you would be better off skipping the show altogether if you want to meet Billie. Then again, I wasn't cut out for chasing him!

Another thing that is fantastic about the front is that you are totally unaware of those dreadful people who either arrive late or get up in the middle of the show. It's splendid.

Ok I will. I have it all planned out on what I want it to look like. I'd like to make it wear a similar jacket like Billie wears during Good Riddance and write St. Billie on the back.

And thanks everyone for the picture compliments. :)

aww yeah, I hate when people arrive late or get up in the middle of the show... but sometimes I have had to do it for emergency purposes [if you know what I mean  lol] I would rarely do it if I'm in someones way and I dont want to be rude. I'm glad to see it from the front row though. Did you have to keep looking up? My friend said her neck was killing her for a bit LOL

Here are some pics:

You already thanked people for thanking you, but AHHH thanks for posting up pictures and details!!!!!!!!!! :woot::dance:

And you waited since 3pm?? I wish I could do that, but I'm watching the show too haha...and I've been thinking, if I'm going to an evening show in February, would it be mean to ask my mom to wait outside by the barrier to guarantee me a spot? :P

Dude! My Mom talked to me today and she promised that she's going to buy tickets this week!!!! I'm so happy! We're shooting for mid-end February!

Awesome!!! I'm going around that time too!

You do keep looking up, but if you sit straight in the seat, it's not bad at all. I didn't find it to be a problem even though I would never, ever sit at the front in the cinema.

Any discomfort is offset by the exteme excitement of having them straight in front of you. Sure, at times the view might be a little more complete a few rows back, but there is no substitute for being so up close and personal with the cast. Especially at the end of Good Riddance, it is incredible, in the truest sense of the word.

Oh, and the spray is EPIC!

Saturday afternoon was 106 - Libby was in front of me at the end of GR, with Billie sort of in front of 105. In the video - the lady who hands over the flowers (Yvette) was 105.

Sunday afternoon was 105 - Billie & Esper - having a mental breakdown now, can't remember who was where, think Billie left and Esper right. Haven't seen any video of the afteroon.

103 and 104 got a whole lot of Billie spit after St. Jimmy, as did his clothes and the ground - it was hilarious.

Have a great time - it will be wonderful.

^A drama teacher at my school says that if you spit alot while you act, you're doing it right

Here's the new BJA billboard at the theater. It's kinda cheesy, lol. http://plixi.com/p/67522581

Haha, that really is kind of cheesy. And his face has something weird and feminine about it.

and congrats to the people who met Billie

ahhh his voice sounds so...different? in a way when he asks who he's saying hi to/actually saying hi. He reminded me of John Travolta for some reason, don't ask why because I don't know the reason myself.

Also, that scene scares me. I would rather take the barrier at Manchester again over that, I think.

It was a really ugly scene the second night. He didn't go around the barriers in an organized way that time, and everyone was freaking out that he'd skip them so it just turned into person after person screaming and shouting at him. I really didn't like it one bit. Not something I'd ever want to be associated with again.

I don't have Facebook. Would you mind posting your pics here, please? It really sucks not to know what you are all talking about =/

& if anyone has pictures or videos from the January 1st signing, please post them! I'm sure other people have pics/vids of me and Billie when he was on the other side of the barrier by me. Thank you :)

Tony was still in the Playbill, although they had the slips saying Billie Joe was playing St. Jimmy instead of Tony. They didn't do that the last time Billie Joe was on broadway in Sept./Oct. if I recall.
