Adeline.Hearts.You Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 im glad he's back but there's no way a lot of us can go to NY while he's performing wish they'd come to Europe Feeling the pain. Fingers crossed. I mean as long as it keeps going as well as it has been them im sure we are in for a good chance of it coming over in our direction..We just need to keep showing are support!!! But if it did, do you ever think their would be a chance for us to see st. billie?

But if there is one thing I'll be optimistic about, It will be AI with St. Billie..... in th U.K A girl can dream
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 I can't believe I still check this thread with the thought "Hmmm.. maybe I can go to this." I might have the money.. but I don't see myself flying to NY alone, to see a musical. I'm not 18 yet, so it's not even legal I guess. Why can't Billie perform in like.. April or May? I'm 18 then, I'd have more arguments to convince my mother it's ok for me to go. And then.. who to go with, etc. etc. etc. If it was in London it would've been a lot easier, haha. Nope, you can fly by yourself at any age. I'm not sure at what age lies the limit that there's a stewardess accompanying you along the way (16, perhaps?), but you can legally fly by yourself at 17. I don't want to say "This is impossible for me, I'm just putting my hopes on it getting to London". I should, but I really don't want to because I don't want to accept yet that I will probably never see the musical at all, and that there's almost no way I'll see it with Billie. I want it so badly

I know you can legally fly by your self at 12 where i from ( Canada)
JaseminTheIdiot Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 I hate all that go to the show, because I can't go. (not serious) But y'know what I mean, or ?
Isabel Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 that sounds rather convenient when are you guys going and who's going with you? A fair few of the Europe-siders seem to be going, which is awesome. We're going the last 2 weeks of Feb I think We're going from Jan 26th-31st because we've had our flights booked for around 2 months And it's just me, Melanie and Darren going in our group! I think I'll be staying on West 11th between 5th and Broadway. A bit further south of you but not that far. Dunkin' Donuts? GREAT coffee BAD donuts! Sorry I just prefer Krispy Kremes. Great! Haha well I will be trying everything!
Katherine Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 A question to those that have been to St Billie performances in the past: Exactly how difficult is it to meet Billie after the show ...? I'm guessing large groups of people who didn't attend the show crowd around the stage door before the show even starts, haha. If you're going to be attending the show and trying to meet him after your show...the chances of you meeting him are kind of slim. :/ I wasn't going to the matinee that I met Billie after, and me and a few people waited outside the stage door an hour or so before...By the time the show ended and people started coming out, the barricades and other side of the street was filled, and it's almost worse at evening shows. If I were you, I'd go to the city early and wait after the matinee early to meet him after. He stays a little bit longer after the matinee shows to sign stuff, rather than at night, from what I noticed.
Jaymee!! Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 We're going from Jan 26th-31st because we've had our flights booked for around 2 months And it's just me, Melanie and Darren going in our group! Great! Haha well I will be trying everything! MAKE SURE YOU GO TO THE TIM HORTONS IN TIMES SQUARE! It's 100% Canadian
NoVaCaInE! Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Yeah, it does look quite nice Haha well hopefully you can work something out! It's only an 8 min walk from Penn station, which makes getting to New Jersey for us quite easy "I really want to go!" "Well then go!" The three most powerful words ever
pols4tre Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 I just got tickets for me and my friend. Row A on February 17th (Billie's birthday!) Aaaaah yeeeeeah. xxxx
clairemarie Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Just bought my tickets for February 24th, left Orchestra, Row H! I'm still in shock slightly because I can't believe I'm actually going! It's insane, really. But I couldn't be happier. Now I just have to buy a plane ticket.
blitzkriegdeb Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Wish I had the money and time to go, but between school and work, I'm booked. :I
lastnightonGDA Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 It's pretty sure that I'm going to New York on the last weekend. But my dad doesn't want to buy my ticket yet because he thinks he can somehow get them cheaper. Is that a good idea, I'm so fucking scared that i won't get a ticket...
Emilie Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 I know there's no way I'd get to go, but I just looked up flight prices now, and the cheapest is $1278 on the 13th of Feb.\ I'm really hoping there's a miracle and my radio station hears about this and gives away tickets. They do like, 3 competitions a day and give away tickets to bands' concerts. Only thing is this would be plane tickets and accommodation too
Isabel Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 MAKE SURE YOU GO TO THE TIM HORTONS IN TIMES SQUARE! It's 100% Canadian We actually have them in shops over here! The three most powerful words ever Apparently so!
E!!i Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 They make themselves look bad. What could happen, some grumpy bastard is going to say "Oh those Green Day fans don't know how to act" GOD FORBID! Now when I think about this I must say I would even want that those guys think that Green Day fans are people who don't know how to act and that we are rebels
Four. Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 EEEEEEEEEP!!!!!!!! I'm going on the 27th of Febuary, at 3 o' clock show before the last one. I can't freaking wait! My parents: I love them! I'm so happy to be able to see the musical again, and to see Billie on Broadway. I'll scratch that off my bucket list when I get out of the theater Row A. Row A. ROW A!!!! CAN YOU FREAKING IMAGINE?! I'll be receiving Billie Joe's sweat MAKE SURE YOU GO TO THE TIM HORTONS IN TIMES SQUARE! It's 100% Canadian THERE'S A TIM HORTONS IN TIME SQUARE?! I can't freaking wait
E!!i Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Krispy Kremes anger me because they are neither crispy nor creamy. I love 'em! Ate one when I was in London last year! so delicious!
NothingButYourImagination Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 I'm trying to plan out when I'm gonna be up there. I'm thinking mid-late February. I want to be up there when a good cluster of you guys will be up there (and when the Static Noise crew will be there too )
siobhan409 Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 The brits are most definately invading NYC this time round...can't miss his birthday now can we
Khaleesi. Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 who all is going on the 27th for the last show?
Chris P FaFu Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 What's this? Drama on GDC and I wasn't the cause of it or smack dab in the middle of it?! Damn, I feel cheated. Okay, no, but seriously, my Mum told me and my Dad today she doesn't give a shit if we go again, it doesn't bother her in the least, and that we should totally go if we want. I stared at her for awhile, then turned to my Dad and went, 'D-dad ...?' in this small voice that belonged to somehow who just had a vision of the Lawwwd himself, and he laughed and said we'd 'talk about it later'. OMG. I'm still not gonna get all up in my own grill excited, but OMG. Val, oh my God, no, do not stay there. Wait --- First, tell me the hotel's name. It's not 'Hotel Carter', is it ...? Oh my God, I hope you didn't already book a room ... i was actually looking at that place....so no eh?? its going for 80 bucks.. whats the scoop
