Billie's going to be a chair, eh? Don't they just mean a child's booster seat? :whistle

Anyways... 25K? Yeah, that's not a lot of money. At all. Nope, haha.

More information (Playbill source):

American Idiot stars John Gallagher Jr. and Rebecca Naomi Jones, Steven Pasquale and cast members from Spring Awakening will perform at the New York Stage and Film's Annual Winter Gala, honoring actress Laura Linney and producer Jordan Roth, Dec. 12 at the Plaza Hotel.

John Benjamin Hickey, who co-stars with Linney on the Showtime series "The Big C," and American Idiot and Spring Awakening director Michael Mayer will be presenters for the evening, which will feature musical numbers from Idiot and Hair.

Hickey and Mayer will also serve as this year's honorary gala chairs, along with Idiot songwriter and Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong and actor-playwright Harvey Fierstein. All proceeds will benefit New York Stage and Film, which develops original film and theatre works.

Linney is currently appearing on Broadway in Time Stands Still, for which she was Tony-nominated. She holds additional Tony nominations for Sight Unseen and The Crucible. She received Emmy Awards for "John Adams," "Frasier" and "Wild Iris" and Oscar nominations for "The Savages," "Kinsey" and "You Can Count on Me."

As president of Jujamcyn Theaters, Roth's productions include Jersey Boys, Spring Awakening, American Idiot, Fela!, Hair and A Little Night Music. Previous credits as an independent producer include The Rocky Horror Show and The Donkey Show. Roth hosts the Broadway Talks series at the 92nd Street Y.

The Plaza Hotel is located at 770 Fifth Avenue. For more information visit newyorkstageandfilm.org.

Maybe this is in between the matinee and evening, because I can't see John and Rebecca missing the shows.

lol and once again Billie will sit there awkwardly, out of place, in his black leather jacket unzipped with an obscure punk band t-shirt peeking from underneath and black dickies pants that are too short for him revealing his red and black striped socks, his hair some new color (in which we all here will freak out about), and his hand itching a particular spot on his head or picking at that one spot of his neck, while everyone around him is in fancy formal wear and eating caviar

I could totally be wrong, but I think Billie is out of place with events like this

Billie joe does not have odd hair

it's just better than all the hair that is at that event
