DecanoLP Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 "Bullet In A Bible" is a very very very good live DVD, probably the best I know together with "Foo Fighters - Live At Wembley Stadium". Nevertheless, I have to criticize something because I'm not really happy about the missing option to play the whole show from the beginning to the end without the backstage stuff. Besides that, the song selection isn't the greatest. They should have added some classics like "Maria" or "Homecoming", not only the singles. Anyway, I'm looking forward to the next Live DVD since I'm sure it'll contain all this rare stuff. "Bullet In A Bible" is just awesome and I love watching it.
E!!i Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 HAPPY FUCKIN' BIRTHDAY BULLET IN A BIBLE!!! I remember when I got Bullet in a Bible for Christmas 2005 I had to watch it immediately
poisonoak Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 wow 5 years already i remember it came out right before my exams
ReturnTo86 Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 I cant believe its been like 5 years since i went to the premier in london! i remember the day i got the DVD perfectly, i had to do a shift at sainsburys and bought it on my lunch break. I stocked up on crisps and lemonade (hardcore, i know) and made my family watch it with me
-Billiejoezee- Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 OMG IM LATE BUT WHATEVER. Happy birthday BIAB. I remember when I was watching videos that people took of the concert, something told me it was gonna be on a DVD. And it did!! I just love watching you while I lay on my bed. The good riddance part ALWAYS makes me cry. And I did enjoy hitchin a ride and KFAD LOL. I missed the premiere at Hollywood. But it's alright. I couldn't go because my parents didn't let me go. But my spirit was there.
FannyDefoe Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 why is there a need to make a thread for this?
Nimrod2309 Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Happy Birthday BIAB. I'm on this DVD! And i was at THAT show! Proud to be able to say both those things I was there too! One of the best weekends of my long life! I am on this DVD too somewhere, if only the faint sound of me screaming/singing along in the distance. I remember being so excited that they made a CD/DVD of a concert I had attended. Happy 5th Birthday Bullet in a Bible(sorry, I'm a day late). You make me feel so happy. Oh and I'm on my second copy too....first one was too well loved
-Billiejoezee- Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 why is there a need to make a thread for this? because it's 5 years old.

Burnout98 Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Love this live album!!! It is the first Green Day album that i ever bought and i have loved it ever since. It is awesome to see them on a dvd and how much energy they put in to every show, and even backstage. The backstagecontent was hilarious!!! I watch it very often and i think i am going to watch it again today! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BULLET IN A BIBLE!! (sorry i'm late!!)
XBlade1X Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Wow, It's really been THAT long!? I think its due for another watch. The last time I watched it was a few days before I went to see Green Day, and I remember crying while I was watching it Happy Anniversary BIAB!
Mar Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 I like how it only took them a couple of months to make this CD/DVD (concerts in June, out in November), and this next CD/DVD is going to take nearly a year between concerts and release.
JordayC13 Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 This is the epic dvd that introduced me to Green Day.

Anja Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 This was my first original Green Day cd/dvd. And yes, it changed my life! I still remember the day I bought it and where I bought it because I had to wait for my parents so I sat down on a bench inside the record store and started listening to the cd on my discman (anyone remembers the good old times of discmen? ;D) And when I put in the dvd after I got home, I was just completely blown away. It was the first punk show I have ever seen (as far as I can remember) and the energy of the band and the crowd was just wow. That was the day I became OBSESSED! So thank you Bullet in a bible and happy belated anniversary!!!
Francois Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 BIAB is still my favorite live DVD/CD, by far. Love it! I hope next year's DVD is just as good.
Annie, get your gun Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Bullet In A Bible is way too awesome, I love it! So, Happy Birthday! My favorite part is what happens between Longview and Hitchin' A Ride (it's funny!) And the songs I enjoy the most are King For A Day, Minority & Wake Me Up When September Ends.
Alan86 Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 I joined GDC the day Bullet in a Bible was released it's such a great live album, I can't wait for the next onE
