What green day concerts have you gone to? Which was the best and why? My first Green Day concert was a year ago at the Nokia Live in LA (11/23/2009). This last tour, I went to Irvine, CA (8/31/2010) and Chula Vista, CA (9/02/2010). I honestly can’t choose which show was best because they were all so different… Nokia was my first and started my whole Green Day ‘obsession’, as my friends like to call it. Irvine was my first as a real fan, I was in the pit, and I was going insane! I was calmer for Chula, I couldn’t get into the pit, so I got to chill and enjoy… 16. Cool story about Green Day… I drove down to Irvine for the show on 8/31/2010 at noon time. I didn’t have pit tickets, so I didn’t have to get in line. I had to go to Will Call, wanted to check out the parking, and I was supposed to meet a few of my friends there. After arriving in Irvine, I found out that my friends wouldn’t even be leaving for the show until about 3pm. So I was in Irvine, hanging out by myself at a mall nearby for lunch, in full Green Day concert attire. Seemingly out of nowhere, a girl ran up to me. “Are you going to the Green Day show?!” she asked. “Yes.” I looked down at my shirt. “What gave it away?” She gave me a huge hug and invited me to hang out with her friends. I hung out with them the entire time and at the show. It turned out that she had tickets REALLY close to mine, and we rushed the pit together. I still talk with them all the time… Mainly, through Green Day, I’ve met a bunch of AMAZING people who are now great friends! 17. Green Day tattoo? If planning one, what will it be? I don’t currently have a Green Day tattoo… But I’m working ‘Warning’ into a full half sleeve. 18. My family does not, but they don’t give me crap about it. Most of my friends don’t like Green Day either. Obviously, the people I met at the shows do. 22. Does your significant other like Green Day? I live in Sydney, Australia, and I think my heritage is French or something. Dunno, goes back a long way! 5. Nope! 6. Yep! 7. I've only been to one of their concerts ( ) and that was the second night in Sydney on the 12th of December 2009. I will remember that day until I'm old, wrinkly and senile! 16. Okay, so I went skiing at Falls Creek, Victoria, and this was with my school. It was our second last day at the hills. Anyway, my group were going down a blue run for the first time. (intermediate) It was really steep and we were all terrified. But as there was no way back, we had no choice but the go speeding down the hill. No surprise, I fell over for the millionth time that day. My skis were twisted, my ankles and head hurt, I couldn't feel my face form the cold and I was VERY tired. I tried to get up, but it seemed almost hopeless. And I know this is gonna sound completely retarded, but I started imagining that Billie, Mike and Tre were standing a little away from me, encouraging me to get back up again. It felt so real since they were wearing ski gear themselves, smiling at me and yelling to me 'Come on Jess, I know you can do it!' And would you know it, with their imaginary encouragement, I managed to get to my feet again. I was greeted by friends at the bottom, and they were proud of me for getting to my feet by myself for the first time. But I didn't tell them how I managed it. I was so proud and surprised, and whenever I fell again, my heroes would always manage to get me to my feet. (hmm, might send this in as a story!) 17. I would like to get the Kerplunk flower on my right ankle, and the AI heart hand grenade on my left. And maybe a little mini version of the Warning man on my middle finger. It would scare the shit outta my parents, but I would love those! 18.
