Shit happens and you're not in the studio with him. Maybe he really did try to get this to work and it just didn't. If you don't like his show, maybe you should've waited for someone to have recording in some technology-fangled way or something and have that surface. Maybe it'll be on iTunes or Adeline Records' website in the future for sale or something. Rich has actually been kind to Green Day fans and during the US Tour in the NJ/NY area, he would hand out free 'upgrade' tickets to those at the show(s). Neg-rep this comment to Hell; I could give two shits but complaining and hoping he gets fired/ruined and calling him names isn't going to get the damn song to work. Things don't always work out in a radio station. That's how Life works. Things don't work out the way you planned for or hoped them to be. So chill out before you start bitching.

I understand you may have stayed up to hear it, and that would suck not hearing it in the end, but he was having technical difficulties. He did'nt choose not to play it, or the whole thing was a trick or anything. Jeez.

A lot of people on her found out that it was going to be played only yesterday so it isn't like we have been waiting years for this to come out. If we have to wait another week or two for it then I am fine with that

GDM Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Haha, I don't know if anyone remembers, but back when Rich Russo announced the Bowery Electric show and was teasing everyone about what show it was to be and where it was going to be, I yelled at him something fierce over Twitter when he was stirring up the panic and later on my blog. Since then, I've come to realize he's an ok guy. But last night when he mentioned the technical issues, I tweeted to him, "Ha! Karma for Bowery Electric? Lol. I'm sure it'll correct itself. I hope. Good luck!" I fell asleep listening to the show last night, so no problem for me. And yes, as Jimmy says, no one knew it was coming out till yesterday, so another week (after it being recorded in Feb. 2009 and only recently produced, lol) won't kill us. But karma... is a bitch! lol.

It's not like he has to play the song; he's just doing Green Day and Jesse Malin fans a favour by playing it, and if people are going to get angry and passive aggressive at him, he can just as easily not play it at all.
