jrot Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 I heard Stuck With Me on my way to work not too long ago. (Of course I'm one of the blessed ones that has radio stations that play a lot of old Green Day songs.)
Whatsername1911 Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Jesus of Suburbia. I sat in the car in my driveway just to here the rest of it.
lastnightonGDA Posted December 4, 2010 Author Posted December 4, 2010 I heard When I come around the other day, it was just ending but it was still awesome.
Smoothed Out Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 I've just heard Longview on kerrang! radio and that's first time I've heard it on there
radiofriendlyunitshifter Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Welcome to Paradise and Last Of the American Girls
Vrock09 Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 I always hear She on 89xradio, I one time heard Burnout, which I was like
BringMoreKnives Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Brainstew/Jaded, Longview, Time of Your Life Ones played all-the-freakn'-time: When I Come around21 GunsHoliday
spark in the night Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 I was watching a Red Wings game on tv and I could hear Mother Mary playing in the background in the arena SO WEIRD
TheSaltOfTheEarth Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 I HEARD BRAIN STEW EARLIER TODAY. And the other day I caught the end of When I Come Around. I like this new radio station I'm listening to now
sara_gd Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 I don't really listen to the radio, so I'll write the ones I heard on public places (dunno if it was the radio or their own selection of songs) A few weeks ago I heard The Static Age on the supermarket, and my mum told me that she heard American Eulogy in that same supermarket I also heard See the Light on a shopping mall and Christian's inferno in another shopping mall. In this last one they used to play that remix of BOBD and Wonderwall too... I don't know if that's rare, but it's weird
Pedestrian9394 Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 Not really rare, but I heard She twice on the same station yesterday.
The Snark Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 In the studio we listen to stations that play nearly everything, so no one can complain. One of the DJs at XRT plays the most random Green Day songs. I've heard Restless Heart Syndrome, Nice Guys Finish Last, Brainstew, Mother Mary, and Broadway.
Lu. Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 My mum told me that at a radio they listen to at her workplace, they always play Time of Your Life, everyday at the same time. I know it's a single, and the hell of a well-known song, but I think it's pretty weird to listen to it here, cause they're mostly AI songs. I also heard an ad of some Disney Channel movie quite a long ago and the riff was Welcome to Paradise. It was only the music, but, I mean, omg, IT WAS Welcome to Paradise, I can recognise it lol
Stuart&Ave Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 I heard Working Class Hero (Green Day's version) last week. It was kinda presented as if it was a new cover of this song....(but it's not)
Idlewild. Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 This thread may be a bit old, but I am listening to Brain Stew/ Jaded as I type this. So far, this is the rarest one I've heard.
Guest EDIT Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 Longview Welcome to Paradise Basket Case When I Come Around She J.A.R. Brain Stew / Jaded Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) Minority American Idiot Boulevard of Broken Dreams Holiday Wake Me Up When September Ends Know Your Enemy 21 Guns Last of the American Girls Restless Heart Syndrome Horseshoes and Handgreanades (Uncensored) Peacemaker Those are just some I could think of on the top of my head.
bjrules Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 Waiting came on one day when I was at the footy and I was so happy! Warning has also come on in the car a couple of times.
Lauralovesgreenday Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 I heard JAR on Kerrang! a few weeks ago and was like
Kristen M Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 JAR, it was right before they came to my town to do a concert. That entire week you couldn't turn on the radio without hearing a Green Day song i miss it so much :'(
Hedwig Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 21 Guns, BOBD, Basket Case and When I Come Around. That's everything I've ever heard on the radio here..
Florence Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 They played Wake Me Up When September Ends (the BIAB version) on the radio! and some weeks ago I heard 21 Guns, the AI Broadway cast version with Billie singing the 2nd verse.
koolkev Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 Sadly... Longview if you consider that more rare then Holiday, BOBD, and Good Riddance.
