**nobodylikesyou** Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 ^I think because people like to talk about it. And theyre going to either way so might as well keep the other threads clean from all this "trash talk" haah
Bastard of 1967 Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 That would be nice. Poor Mike, always surrounded by women. Awwwwwww, daughters are great. Most of the time.
lizziebix Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 Awwwwwww, daughters are great. Most of the time. Just wait until she's 13 and everything is boring and she's bored of everything! It must be a girl thing but I'm pretty sure most of us girls have gone through that stage! Oh, and the tears. I remember crying over everything. See what you have to look forward to!! Good luck!

Once the hormones start flowing I'm just going to move outta the house and let my wife deal with it. <<kidding!!>>

lizziebix Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 Awww. Thats awesome. But why is here a thread about this? I mean,it's kind of ''creepy'' and .. private. Its their own thing and it's their family stuff.. But okay, thats cute. Because there's not really any other new Green Day news to discuss.
veroPasalacqua Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 Because there's not really any other new Green Day news to discuss. But Anyways..
Hermione Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 When someone chooses to announce publically in an interview that they're having a baby, and people take a moment to say "congrats to them", that isn't invading their privacy or creepy . People are just saying they're glad for him because he has some good news, nothing to get concerned about.
Billie's__Babe Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 i find it funny that Tre and Mike can have baby girls but not Billie(as far as we know ) But im SO happy for them and the Green Day family grows once more
Marlee Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Aw congrats to them Tho i kinda think its funny we're all saying "congrats" to a post on a forum haha
MCC Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Aw congrats to them Tho i kinda think its funny we're all saying "congrats" to a post on a forum haha Kinda like saying "Happy Birthday" to an album on a forum.
Marlee Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Kinda like saying "Happy Birthday" to an album on a forum. haha ooh true i must admit ive done that too
ParadoxAndPlaid Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Aw congrats to them Tho i kinda think its funny we're all saying "congrats" to a post on a forum haha Oh, we all know they lurk here and read what we fans are saying. Besides; it would be even more strange if you sent a personal letter congratulating them, or something crazy like that. This is kinda the the 'courteous fan way' of congratulating and celebrating with them, but not being too personal.
MCC Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 haha ooh true i must admit ive done that too I'm guilty too for every album!

HoneyDo666 Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Awww! Congrats to Mike and Brittney...nothing more beautiful than an expecting couple!
The Platypus! Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Congratulations to Mike , but I think it does mean no new music for a bit because he's going to have to look after the baby .
pasalaska Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Congratulations to Mike , but I think it does mean no new music for a bit because he's going to have to look after the baby . I don't think it will delay anything. They've already got a some songs written, they've recorded demos, and they all live close to their recording studio (so I hear). I mean, Insomniac was released the year after Dookie and Billie had Joey between those two albums.

Off topic a bit, but I thought the studio was sold, had new owners and had moved. Don't know if it's closer to them or farther. Either way, I'm sure Britt would figure out how to handle the baby (a nanny or au pair?) if Mike wanted to record. It is his livelihood afterall. But I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't and stuck around the house for the first couple of months at least. He's seems like that kind of dad.

If I'm getting my facts right, the studio was sold to a friend or buisness partner who is keeping it as a studio... I think that's right. I'm pretty sure the band is still going to use it seeing as the only thing that's changed about it is the owner and the name. (though I may be completely wrong) And yeah, at the most this will delay the album a few months but that's all good. I can wait for my GD fix
