Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 I'd love that, actually I was wondering exactly the same thing after watching the Tony Awards performance where I saw Glee Cast (well, actually I only saw Will Schuester and Rachel Berry) ovationing Green Day and saying "amazing" and stuff; so I kinda got excited with the idea: Glee is an awesome show, I mean if it's not your "style" you don't need to watch it but is really good, they are great artists, sometimes AI cast reminds me to them. In the end, it would be nice to me.

RebelofSuburbia Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 ahh I've been hoping for this ever since I started watching Glee I have a weird love for it, because it's not at all something I would usually get into but somehow I do love Glee. Songs I'd like to see include Basket Case, Jesus of Suburbia (as if, but it would be awesome!), American Idiot and Last Night on Earth because they have a clear message I think could well fit in with a Glee storyline. But chances are they would just pick a more well-known song such as 21 Guns or Wake Me Up When September Ends. you've had me tricked for a while though, I thought they were really gonna do it

I don't want people do be like, "Oh, you listen to Green Day? How did you get into them? Glee?" and I'd be like, "*face-plamb*"

If you don't like it just don't watch it, simple. I really like watching glee, not for the storyline but for all the musical performances, they ARE good.

Lampostc Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 I probably would be happy when i heard the opening chirds or drum beat but then as they'd begin to sing I'd probably start to dislike it, but heyy i could live with it. Also it would probably make a lot of my non-Green-Day-fans friends like at least the song they'd sing on the show

I think it'd be interesting if they did a Green Day song. I'd watch it. And like Lampostc said, it might make some non Green Day fans like the song they perform and perhaps make them want to look more into Green Day.
