spark in the night Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 probably not and if he did, he probably wouldn't care or maybe not, maybe he does feel bad for what he said who knows what's done is done although I'm sure many of us would like an explanation
mandajane Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 i really dont think hes the type of person to give a fuck. he gets away with saying a lot, he got away with the n word on 21CB.....
Velocity Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 well, at least this isn't in the real mainstream media, like MTV or something. I hope it stays that way.
spark in the night Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 well Demi Lovato quitting twitter made headline news so I'm sure tomorrow we'll see "Billy Jo of Green Day bashes Steve Jobs...." lol
Velocity Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 well Demi Lovato quitting twitter made headline news so I'm sure tomorrow we'll see "Billy Jo of Green Day bashes Steve Jobs...." lol When I first read that I thought you said that Demi tweeted that. I was like "o shit"
mandajane Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 "Billy Jo of Green Day bashes Steve Jobs...." lol LOL
Trotsky Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 i really dont think hes the type of person to give a fuck. he gets away with saying a lot, he got away with the n word on 21CB..... He didn't say "nigger" in a racist context, he actually used it in the sense of how people lay out blame for social upheaval.
Fuzz Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 I feel like we're all waiting for the other shoe to drop. I really hope it doesn't - I could do without all the hate aimed at them. Mainly because I feel like most people will react irrationally over it, and it takes away from a much better message they've done in trying to send. Or, it'll all fizzle out and we'll be the only ones who cared for all of 48 hours.

And I, too, hope it doesn't happen.

A lot of shit that starts on the internet ends up on MTV and then could easily end up on the damn O'Reilly Factor. But it seems like a blog story and not a news story to me. Maybe the funniest thing is the OP just wanted to know what he was saying and not "OMG, look at what Billie did." So in a way you can say the whole thing was an accident.
St. Banana Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 just watched that video for a 2nd time okay, instead of saying "now everybody do the propaganda" what does Billie say? I can't understand it. now everybody get a coca cola? what? lol and what does he say after that? something about buying bullshit blahblahdhgddfg? Okay I know it's already been answered. But ohwell. He says "Now everybody do the coca cola, and go out and buy all the fucking bullshit in the motherfucking stores!" Then he goes on to say something like "And you can stick your fucking music up your fucking ass!" "MTV and all you bullshit, you can all go straight to hell alrighttt!" Well thats what I heard.
Maura99 Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 Obviously he had some frustrations bottled up inside that he needed to vent. It may not have been the right or politically correct way of saying it, but there's a ground of truth in what he said. The guy is punk after all, what do people expect from him? It shouldn't be blown out of proportion. That being said, there is no excuse for wishing someone to die of cancer in my opinion. He may not have meant it like that and he was in a highly emotional state at the time, but he should've been smarter than that. Especially when there were some many young people there who look up to him.
21 guns Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 You know, I just lost a lot of respect for billie, this is disgusting. On the other hand, he is just human, give him a break! Or is it just me? I still like the "Do you wanna live" speak! I dont think anyone know where the llama is....
Guest Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 He's really contradicted himself there.... He says something about MTV when lots of us in Europe are going to watch MTV World Stage in the cinemas... Funny eh, what a coincidence.
GDM Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 He's a Walking Contradiction! And bagels.... hm, that's a good idea.
petros Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 I don't like what he said...But that doesn't mean he will ask someone else for his opinion...He is free to say everything he wants...I just can't undestand how a man who has lost his own father from cancer wishes that another one looses his life from the same disease too...Idk it sounds bad...I and I think all of you have wished that someone else was dead but I can totally understand why he got so mad with all those cameras..Those guys are giving their best on stage to put out a great show and the want the crowd to be alive!

netty Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 I think this is more likely to happen. I don't much people besides GD fans will care. Or atleast I hope they don't other things have happened in the bands history that fans have gone absolutely ape over and the lads havent ended up having to answer questions about. but then again, if questions do get asked by the media, Billie is a grown man and he is perfectly capable of speaking for himself. its not up to us to explain or excuse anything he or the others do. all we can do is make our own minds up about how we feel about it. none of us can say catagorically why he said it or what he meant by it. or if her regrets saying it to any degree.
Metanoia Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 Oh my god. I think I never herd him that angry before However ok on the technology thing...its his opinion right but im so so so mad at that cancer thing right now...if theres one thing i absolutly hate is people wishing others to die. you can hate someone with all of your heart ect. but wishing someone to die is just fucking shit. billie or not persons like that should just shut the fuck up about that. its disrespectful and mediocore. sorry billie i love you boy but this just fucked up and making me fucking angry. im dissapointed. thats my opinion.
gdpony Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 well, he said the same thing here on friday haha ... people are overreacting, he was just mad, because people care more about recording a video, than actually enjoying the show! he wasnt that mad here, and didnt wish death to anyone so I guess he feels bad about that.
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 was billie doing meth? omg lol what no he wasn't where did you get that from
