Thanks for posting! I'll look up for this when it will hit the shelves here. :)

btw, I found this on tumblr, I guess it's from this interview:

Q mag: When did you first become aware of John Lennon?

Billie Joe: I heard The Beatles when I was six years old or something. I remember when he died there was a moment of silence on the radio while my sisters were getting ready for school, feathering their hair back like Farrah Fawcett.

Q mag: What's his greatest song?

Billie Joe: Watching The Wheels

Q mag: Without John Lennon, I wouldn't have...

Billie Joe: ...known what true honesty in music is.

Q mag: When was Lennon at his best?

Billie Joe: That first Plastic Ono Band record is so brutal to listen to; you feel like a voyeur, as if you're actually looking into someone's life. That, I don't think, has ever really been repeated.

Q mag: Sum up John Lennon in one sentence...

Billie Joe: He covered every aspect of love

Yeah, they sell this magazine in HMV and in bookstores like Chapters, at least in Mtl. I've bought it a couple of times here (:

Hmm, that actually might be the extent of him in the magazine. We'll see when someone gets their hands on it. I think there is a tiny picture of BJA on one of the pages, according to the picture that Moffieee posted on Tumblr.

It most probably is. And yeah, we will be sure when we'll see it with proper scans. I don't know if it's her tumblr, but I found it here:

thanks for posting the interview :)

I love that Billie is a part of this.

John Lennon was the biggest influence on my childhood, when he died I was inconsolable and didn't go to school.

Billie and John have a lot in common, and both have my absolute respect.

I'm buying it tomorrow and I'll scan it if nobody else has by the time I get home :)

Hope thats not all of billie in the interview.

Thanks for the scan. But his hair (I know, I know, we always talk about his hair), but seriously, it looks like he stuck his thumb in an electrical outlet and got shocked.

Ah, thanks for that, I kinda figured it was going to be short, but it's nice! Thanks!
