koolkev Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Don't know.... But Id be SO happy if it makes it on the audio version.
EvanAsFuck Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 But Id be SO happy if it makes it on the audio version. Well it's pretty much a given that it's GOTTA be on the CD... They wouldn't just play a song like that like 5 times and not put it on the CD... Plus that's the song where they originally introduced the knownledge that they were recording for a live album! So pretty much, you can basically count on C&V to be on it!!
blackstar Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 I just heard that Warner Japan has said that the version of Cigarettes and Valentines that will be on the CD is going to be from Denver (the first show where is was played, twice in a row), but I've got the Warner Japan twitter open now and I'm not seeing anything about Green Day. Does anyone know anything more? It is not WMJ official twitte. This is it. http://twitter.com/#!/wmj_intl And here is a source. http://wmg.jp/artist/greenday/news.html#32649?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter They just say Cigarettes and Valentines will be included in the album. I hope they give us more info....!

I know it's not exactly the quality we will get on the CD but as far as bootlegs go, it's pretty fucking good!
NoManCanEat50drumsticks Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 look at gd website, that's a new banner in the main page!!! XD http://www.greenday.com/site/homepage.php
pisquano Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 look at gd website, that's a new banner in the main page!!! XD http://www.greenday.com/site/homepage.php Mmmm ...It's gonna be just 1 CD and 1 DVD, then ("the brand new live CD plus bonus DVD").
jon18 Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 According to this banner, the dvd will be just a bonus (14 songs whose 7 from 21CB like Bullet in a bible?). The 21CB Tour deserves more. I hope the CD will be a great sound quality with great crowd and not teenies scream like BIAB.

pasalaska Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 gah I want details dammit. I'm sick of all the speculation I need to be more patient
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Bonus DVD? I don't like that sound of that. Sounds like you have to pay extra for the DVD or some shit. (as in, it sounds like that to me, not it sounds like it will be like that). I want some concrete information instead of all this vague stuff.... this is far more frustrating that not knowing anything.

Bonuses are nice, but from that banner it looks like they're trying to advertise it as a live album with video footage as a bonus. BIAB was the other way around pretty much. Hopefully I'm wrong though.

It's just weird how there is an intro and banners, but not one announcement or news post. Hell, a one line post would be enough, but this is weird.
taybay Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 honestly i dont think bonus dvd means anything. maybe it's just am advertising thing. like you pay for a cd the price one would normally be, but the dvd also comes with it, kinda thing
Vaso.Of.Suburbia Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 What do you guys think, are there gonna be any songs from the pre-Dookie era included?
Jacob. Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 What do you guys think, are there gonna be any songs from the pre-Dookie era included? I would think they would add at least one, since they played a ton of them on this tour.
sarah? Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 I would think they would add at least one, since they played a ton of them on this tour. id like to think that 2000 light years away AT LEAST would be but we can only hope at this point
GuitarPunk94 Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 What do you guys think, are there gonna be any songs from the pre-Dookie era included? maybe Going to Pasalacqua? would be nice ^^
Vaso.Of.Suburbia Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 maybe Going to Pasalacqua? would be nice ^^ Yeah that would be awesome, but can Reprise use these songs? They were recorded and released from the Lookout Records...
DecanoLP Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 What do you guys think, are there gonna be any songs from the pre-Dookie era included? They'll better do this. I don't wanna see a fucking setlist like "21stCB, KYE, EJN, Holiday, Gloria, Are We The Waiting, St. Jimmy, BOBD, Hitchin' A Ride, When I Come Around, Brain Stew, Longview, Basket Case, 21 Guns, Minority, American Idiot, Good Riddance"!
Maddy. Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Yeah that would be awesome, but can Reprise use these songs? They were recorded and released from the Lookout Records... Yeah I mean they pretty much own green day so idk why they couldn't release them.
jtdscape Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Yeah I mean they pretty much own green day so idk why they couldn't release them. I am pretty sure Warner owns the rights to those songs now and Lookout doesnt.
Maddy. Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 I am pretty sure Warner owns the rights to those songs now and Lookout doesnt. that's what i said?
