Metanoia Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 *hopes WMUWSE from Pinkpop makes it on the DVD, or simply one of the songs they played at that show* 1 + rep for that
Fanny. Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Tell me about it seriously, if they put 1000 Hours on there... I'll be this: x 10000000000000000000 Yeah well we can only hope and see at this point (: But this song has to make its way on the cd! I mean I don't think they've ever played it live beside the Qc show.. I'm sure this is gonna be your reaction if it happens XD And probably mine too haha btw that was the perfect choice for a request And if it doesn't end up on the cd, at least you'll always have these great memories from the show!
LMC Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Damn I can't wait for it It might be GREAT!!!!!!!!!! What do you mean "might" be GREAT? It's gonna be Awesome As Fuck!

It setlist.fm is to be believed, then they haven't played it since before I was born and yeah, I will always have the memories, but I'd like to re-live it without the shock, so I can actually concentrate. I kinda blanked for the first few lines (my favourite part of the song) because I couldn't believe it was happening. IF it is there when the tracklist is released, the whole world will hear my scream of excitement
Hermione Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Yeah, I totally understand that and agree, but I still think it would sound better as a tagline as opposed to the actual title. Now that's an idea! Obviously I'd prefer it as the actual title but if they do decide to change it for any reason I hope they keep it as a tagline. They simply must use it somehow
ConfirmPassword Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 I don't know if this is true because there's not a citation for this, but on wikipedia I read that a working title for Insomniac was Tight Wad Hill. I have read that too! Cant remember where though. But it wasnt Wikipedia. EDIT: found it http://www.winstonsmith.com/gallery/albums/small/greenday.html
Isabel Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Now that's an idea! Obviously I'd prefer it as the actual title but if they do decide to change it for any reason I hope they keep it as a tagline. They simply must use it somehow Yeah, I mean, just say for example that it was even called "Green Day, 21st Century Breakdown tour" (even though it won't be, because well, that's a terrible example), it'd be great to have "It's awesome as fuck!" underneath it as a tagline, although looking like a review. And then it could say GDA beside it
E!!i Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 HA IT IS AWESOME AS FUCK THAT THEY TOOK THAT NAME CAUSE IT WAS MY SUGGESTION!!!
November's Storms Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 It setlist.fm is to be believed, then they haven't played it since before I was born If setlist.fm is to be believed, they played Panic Song at Wembley
Anja Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 If setlist.fm is to be believed, they played Panic Song at Wembley I wish.
Cym Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 I'm wishing they would have made a compilation for the DVD section of the album too, I would have liked to see that I can't wait though
GDLoT Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 I want all the pants...especially the grey and black pinstripe ones Billie wore at the Camden show. Those were just so dapper and awesome. Seriously though, all the pants better be on this DVD. It could be it's own special BONUS feature! (would REALLY love that! please?!)
kate_ochoxx Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 so wait, im confused is there a DVD or not
GDLoT Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 its a shame we'll never get to see a high-quality version of WMUWSE where it started to rain that was one of my biggest hopes for the DVD Oh, i remember Dublin/Marlay Park was pretty epic, Billie looked up right as he sang, "Here comes the rain again..." and it rained. Epic.
November's Storms Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 so wait, im confused is there a DVD or not Yes, thats a definite. It will be coming out on March 15th, 2011. Other details we are almost sure about but can't officially confirm, like that it will be called Awesome as Fuck, and that the DVD part will be taken from the Tokyo concert. Oh, i remember Dublin/Marlay Park was pretty epic, Billie looked up right as he sang, "Here comes the rain again..." and it rained. Epic. I look into the past, and I wanna make it last. I was there, I was there!
Metanoia Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 the 15th of March awesome as fuck day:p this + 2 months before 2nd birthday of 21st Century Breakdown ^^
Metanoia Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 March 15th is way earlier than I expected. yeah so cool

I confirmed the title, that's what it's called right now. There's no way to say for sure if it'll stay that way. And i've asked for confirmation on the Tokyo stuff.
Tripe Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 I think they were going to call BIAB 'Penis In A Bumhole' but they decided against it. Hahahaha, Tony - that caught me completely by surprise and I almost choked. LOLOLOL.
mallorymaloney Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 I think they were going to call BIAB 'Penis In A Bumhole' but they decided against it. Since I just about died upon reading that, it's now in my signature.
deadair Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 What Toyko show are they talking about being the DVD? The May 28, 2009 one that was used for the Last Night On Earth EP? Personally, I would like to see a GD live double feature DVD of the Fox Theater show and the Munich MTV World Stage show, both in complete form.
