LMC Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 .... It's not likely that they will include songs from so many Scandinavian countries. We'd be lucky if we got one track. Yeah, obviously. I'd still be gutted if Sweden wasn't chosen...
Anja Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 i'm so excited about this if wembleys on there what do people think the song will be?? me and 21 guns thought 21CB, minority or king for a day/shout/all the other covers they did eg. hey juuuuuuuuuuuude. Hopefully WAITING That's be awesome as fuck. They NEED to have one of the two times they played Holden Caulfield with Davey Hovok, either at PNC or Denver. That would be Awesome as Fuck. They played twice together? I thought only once, I must have missed the second time. Where was it? I'm so bored... http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5081/5270688437_fbeb628947.jpg That's genius, Olivia! I love the Rolling Stone critics
Beathe. Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 Yeah, obviously. I'd still be gutted if Sweden wasn't chosen... I'd be glad eitherway. I was at the shows in Norway and Sweden so it would be awesome. But it would be fine from Finland or Denmark too.
BringMoreKnives Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 Best. Title. Ever. I hope they have a song on there from the Virginia show, but I doubt it
LMC Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 I'd be glad eitherway. I was at the shows in Norway and Sweden so it would be awesome. But it would be fine from Finland or Denmark too. I'm prestigious, nationalistic and ignorant. That's why I only want songs from Sweden on the album (if they include anything from the Scandinavian shows). But even if they won't, there's always Wembley
Nickofsuburbia Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 Pretty funny that the name of the album would be derived from a tweet, and a sign, right? Wasn't the tweet from "Buffalo was awesome as fuck" or something like that? i think it was from the posters then billie just started using it whenver although if that WAS the Buffalo tweet im completely wrong im kinda mad we wont get any of the great things that happened during the 2nd American Leg and South America on DVD those were the best shows ever imo
pasalaska Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 I'm gonna treasure this for the rest of my life now (not that it wasn't already treasured) and a very large part of me would like this to be the album cover, or at least included somewhere in the packaging: I hope like someone said a few pages back, that they include Good Riddance from Denver, so the world can hear 'So take the photographs and still frames in your muck, hang it on a shelf and you're awesome as fuck'
captain peroxide Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 I hope like someone said a few pages back, that they include Good Riddance from Denver, so the world can hear 'So take the photographs and still frames in your muck, hang it on a shelf and you're awesome as fuck' I'm pretty sure it was "still frames and your luck"
pasalaska Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 i would think based on the name of the album it's all but a certainty. The song that is. The album cover, not sure, but it definitely is a possibility. hahaha, I don't really think that photo will be used. I just want it to be because I'm in it I'm pretty sure it was "still frames and your luck" it sure looked/sounded like 'muck' like he was halfway through singing 'mind' before he changed it to rhyme with 'fuck' good times
LMC Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 Jan 23rd: http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/green-day/2010/saitama-super-arena-saitama-japan-63d772df.html Jan 24th: http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/green-day/2010/saitama-super-arena-saitama-japan-6bd76ece.html Apparently they played American Eulogy the first night and Jesus of Suburbia on the second
captain peroxide Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 it sure looked/sounded like 'muck' like he was halfway through singing 'mind' before he changed it to rhyme with 'fuck' good times ah, you're probably right I'm assuming Billie can think on his feet a lot faster than he probably can Good times indeed, that show was amazing.

The 'rarest' songs are Burnout, Viva La Gloria! , 2000LYA or GSB all of which arent really that rare.
AndrewW91 Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 Jan 23rd: http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/green-day/2010/saitama-super-arena-saitama-japan-63d772df.html Jan 24th: http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/green-day/2010/saitama-super-arena-saitama-japan-6bd76ece.html Dang. They better put Gloria, Burnout, Geek Stink Breath, My Generation, ect.. Probably every song they played.
Nova-Caine Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 So happy for Beth, Abbey and the gang for this idea, cant imagine how giddy you must be x
greendaytone Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 really not very interesting set lists. The 'rarest' songs are Burnout, Viva La Gloria! , 2000LYA or GSB all of which arent really that rare. I'm still hoping there will be some clips from the rest of the tour as well. And I hope American Eulogy makes it on
LMC Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 And I hope American Eulogy makes it on Oh yes. I really wanted them to play Jesus of Suburbia at my first show on this tour, but American Eulogy is actually just as good live!
radiofriendlyunitshifter Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 What if they put different songs on the DVD and the CD? We could get some of the rarer songs on the CD and more of the popular songs on the DVD or vice versa.
pasalaska Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 What if they put different songs on the DVD and the CD? We could get some of the rarer songs on the CD and more of the popular songs on the DVD or vice versa. the CD and DVD are going to be different. It's not like BIAB where the CD was just the Audio from the DVD - this CD is going to have recordings from different shows around the world, so who knows what's going to be on it.
luvgirlcl Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 If we do get a song from the concert in Chile, I'm hoping it's BOBD. I know it's not one of the rare songs, but I'd love to hear the 'official' recording of it, with the whole audience singing it back (and Billie going 'Louder than Argentina', even if he said that in every show )
Beathe. Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 I'm prestigious, nationalistic and ignorant. That's why I only want songs from Sweden on the album (if they include anything from the Scandinavian shows). But even if they won't, there's always Wembley Some Swedish people....
pasalaska Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 Erm Amazon UK only says 'Audio CD' I'm sure it's just a listing error amazon.com has it as CD/DVD
