I think the title it's pretty...ehmmm...awesome as fuck?!?! X°D

Anyway, I'd like to have a sort of mix of various shows, taking all the rare songs they did one from a show and one from another and putting tham together to create the perfect setlist...I don't know if I'm clear...

So are we thinking the DVD from the on May 28, 2009 show at Akasaka Blitz, Tokyo, Japan OR the January 23 & 24th, 2010 shows at Saitama Super Arena, Saitama, Japan? thoughts??

This is really exciting, but I highly doubt it will be called Awesome as Fuck in the end.

IT'S ACTUALLY CALLED AWESOME AS FUCK? :runaround:

That just completely makes up for the fact that there's only one show on the DVD. Although, I don't understand why they would pick Tokyo. I would think maybe Wembley, because it was the biggest, or Denver because of Cigs and Vals or something a little more, you know, noteworthy.

I just wish it was a big jumble of all the shows. Oh well.

Look on the bright side, people haven't considered there may be DVD extras featuring some rare tunes! Most live DVDs do. Even if its one or two songs its still better than nothing. As much as I would love to have the DVD be of the Wembley show I also think it's kind of like "that was then, it's basically a perfect memory and no video footage would do how awesome as fuck that weekend was any justice".

Can someone post the photo of all the awesome as fuck signs that GDA has posted? I know I've seen it before but I can't remember where

I have several on my blog posting about this, which gives a complete history of the damn signs, lol. But I don't know about all the GDA signs. Ah, I see you just wanted Awesome as fuck? Sorry, I have several different signs on that post.

Its on Tokyo because the live EP was also recorded in Tokyo, called "Last Night On Earth: Live in Tokyo"

and maybe its going to be the same, but in DVD form.

Edit: the LIVE ALBUM is going to be a bunch of shows in the tour, and the DVD is going to be the concerts in TOKYO.

Well BIAB only had the picture gallery as an extra. Mind you, all the interviews and off stage stuff they put in it would be considered extras on most live concert DVDs

yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!

Although, if i'm honest, I was kinda hoping that the Live DVD would be from somewhere else other than Tokyo, as they already released the "Last Night on Earth" EP from those gigs. But thats just my opinion.

really? Japan? really?

no offense to the Japanese people out there but seriously? they played so many great places like Wembly, O2, MSG, the three cali shows, and the detroit ones of course :P

and i just had a hopeful revelation!

they said that Cigs and Valentines would be on the CD/DVD and since Cigs and Vals wasnt played in Tokyo...

it would be a shame if they had all that hype around C&V at those last shows and its just a studio version (or a live version for that matter)

i understand that those shows were professionally recorded but what about all those cameras on stage during the 2nd American leg

and if i remember correctly they did not have the giant LED screens during the Asia part of the tour i id think they would want some of that on the DVD to get the full concert experience

maybe im just in denial haha

Not that one.

No way I'm pre ordering because you have to pay for overnight or two-day shipping in order to get it on the release date. Much rather would go to the store and buy it

It's only the DVD thats coming from Tokyo. The live CD might still have C&V on it. Hopefully!

I'd say they're from the shows this year because the one at Akasaka Blitz wasn't really part of the "21st CB Tour" since it officially started in June in Seattle. And we also have the EP from that show so it'd be stupid to release it again even if it was in dvd format. But that's just my thought.

It's coming out four days after my birthday :D

A week before mine :D

and it would have been exactly on my birthday, had I not been born a week too late after due date.

That is the most uninspired title ever =/ I hope they change it.

Posted

I wonder why

Dai's boobies, obviously.

Plus South American crowds completely destroy other crowds in general. Even Billie said it was the best audience they'd ever had.

Posted

yea really

the title is a funny fan-inspired inside joke but they need something resounding like "Bullet in a Bible"

i know that this isnt as politically charged or anti-war passionate of a record (21CB that is) but they need something more than an inside joke

like seriously Bowling Bowling Parking Parking Parking was a better title (and also in Japan)

Why?

It's a huge nod to all the suuuper duper fans. I can't think of anything more spectacular they've ever done that was specifically for the fans.

Was so happy to hear the news that the album's gonna be called "Awesome as Fuck". I mean, you people directly inspired the title of an album by your favorite band. You're like the coolest people EVER :D

I think the thing with SA crowds is that we get good shows (and cool concerts in general) so far in between, that we just go nuts during the shows. Specially this time with Green Day, cause it had been 12 years since the last time they came here.

yeeeeeeah, taking proud in being part of the cool SA crowd  . Not to disrespect the rest of you guys, though
