DecanoLP Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 Just the thought of hearing songs like Paper Lanterns on the live record.. :woot: This.
sara_gd Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 Paper Lanterns has to make it to the DVD! I'd love When it's time from Marlay Park (Dublin)
bat-chen Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 If Green Day would make a live DVD with all the greatest Green Day's songs, it will be the longest live dvd ever!
Shnitzel Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 It's so coming out while I'm away for a month
sampy Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 If Green Day would make a live DVD with all the greatest Green Day's songs, it will be the longest live dvd ever! This
GuitarPunk94 Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 need rare songs on upcoming live album XDD plzz
TheSaltOfTheEarth Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 I don't think it's going to be another Bullet In A Bible-esque 'current record + hits only' type of thing. I'm pretty sure they will include SOME live rarities. This tour was celebrating Green Day as band and I sincerely think that the live DVD should reflect that with some of their older and less played songs.
XxRedundantCastaway86xX Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 I will do anything to have something like this - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Live_Phish_Volume_13 (not that I like Phish, I'm not a fan i mean just in relation to the amount of songs and discs)
Tubbie Head Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 I really hope they don't throw away all the amazing rarities and put only the regular stuff on the dvd, I would be so disappointed and a little bit angry I don't think it's going to be another Bullet In A Bible-esque 'current record + hits only' type of thing. I'm pretty sure they will include SOME live rarities. This tour was celebrating Green Day as band and I sincerely think that the live DVD should reflect that with some of their older and less played songs. I reallllyy hope you are right Lets pray Damn I'm so excited for this. Imagine good quality audio of our favorite oldies??!!! * drools*

They should make a live record that reflects the band, how great they are live, playing songs off their recent albums, but also off their older records. Not just the "hit singles", but everything!
EvanAsFuck Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 I will do anything to have something like this - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Live_Phish_Volume_13 (not that I like Phish, I'm not a fan i mean just in relation to the amount of songs and discs) That would be the coolest thing ever... They should like pick a number of songs to be on it, and then let the fans vote for the rest of the songs...
Nickofsuburbia Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 my thought on what the DVD setlist is gonna be: Song of the Century/21stCB KYE EJN Give Me Novocaine/Letterbomb static age or before the lobotomy welcome to paradise rocknroll intro/brain stew/paper n gun stuff/jaded cigs and vals paper lanterns/2000 light years away longview she when i come around 21 Guns american eulogy JOS w/ guitar players wake me up/good riddance/with other encore songs(hopefully whatsername) i think that burnout, geek stink breath, dominated love slave, viva la gloria, christie road or waiting could be in there too considering that they played those lots toward the end of the tour and those are pretty quality green day songs
PleasedToMeetMe Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 I just dont want Bullet in a Bible part 2. Great concert DVD, but just not Green Day . . it make the band seem too much like U2 or something. I loved the 21st Breakdown Tour cuz of all the rare shit they played, so I hope to see Burnout, Christie Road, 2,000 Light Years Away, One of My Lies, Paper Lanterns, Dominated Love Slave, Who Wrote Holden Caulfield? and shit like that . . gotta love new Green Day, but man . . those old songs, especially on that tour, were phenomanal.
EvanAsFuck Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Man, I could go for a good 100% Home-Grown live DVD/CD update...
Mato Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Who Wrote Holden Caulfield? with Davey Havok I wish....
Isabel Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Maria would just be incredible. Reeeeeeeally hope that's on there.
Nickofsuburbia Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Who Wrote Holden Caulfield? with Davey Havok I wish.... AMAZING there was also that show when right before 21 Guns Billie and Davey did a Words I Might Have Ate tease
radiofriendlyunitshifter Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 They should call it "Live Fucking Album." Because it's going to be fucking awesome!
Cameron. Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 This is coming out in the summer right? Ugh it seems so far away.
Nuclear Winter Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 As Tre quotes, I think the listener can expect multiple audio orgasms and they're gonna cum out of their earholes. I'm telling you, you won't need Viagra when 'Warning' hits the stands But instead, you wont need Viagara when the NEW FUCKING LIVE ALBUM cums out.
Fanny. Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 If Dry Ice had been played this tour, I'd want it to be on the dvd without hesitation They played a pretty diverse repertoire of amazing old songs the past year, so Idk which ones I'd like to see the most on the dvd.. Just put them all there
pasalaska Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 I'm thinking that they won't put any of the songs where Billie stuffed up/forgot the lyrics. so no Platypus. Or Maria.
jon18 Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 I'm thinking that they won't put any of the songs where Billie stuffed up/forgot the lyrics. so no Platypus. Or Maria. And they won't include songs they didn't play in its entirety like "Paper Lanterns" or "2000 Light Years Away". In my opinion, the only rare songs will be "Nice Guys Finish Last", "Burnout", "Geek Stink Breath" and maybe "Dominated Love Slave". It will be the dvd of the best Green Day tour so far, they won't include songs they messed up or when Billie forgot the lyrics.
