Zen90 Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 On the CD he says, "All the people in Ireland... VIVA LA REVOLUTION!" and in the DVD???....mystery
idc Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 I do not know if it's already been said .... in the DVD during "Welcome To Paradise" start the "21 Guns" pyro's, by mistake .... in fact we see Billie, Tre and Mike a little surprised but they are good to look natural. ... in fact if you look up on youtube 'solo 21 Guns pyro's dont's start the first night but the next day the pyro start................sorry for bad english... yes, somebody posted about this some weeks ago. he said that the pyro guy made a mistake setting the pyros up. but cool for pointing it out again, i really like it during WTP too
billiejoephil Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 and in the DVD???....mystery That I don't know... Sorry!
November's Storms Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 ok so i have just watched this all the way through and i must say that i do like it a lot! just a shame that the name is truely awful but becuase they called it Awesome As F**K it's not as good. They should have just gone for it and put Fuck on the cover The name is brilliant! I heard some stores were selling Awesome as Fuck, my copy says Awesome as F**k, a friend of mine bought hers that says Awesome as ****. Now that one sucks. She was thinking about buying the f**k version too, just for the extra two letters I love the C&V video... because I'm in it What time? On the CD he says, "All the people in Ireland... VIVA LA REVOLUTION!"
pasalaska Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Cool that you were in that video! Where can I see you? =) I can only see Maha What time? that's the Phoenix show I think they show me in another angle too, but I don't have the DVD with me at the mo.
pasalaska Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 It looks like Mike is looking at you I never noticed that
Metanoia Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Well, last wee AAF was #5 at the german album sells this week it slipped down to #29, aw too bad.
Alan86 Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Billie just tweeted this about AAF "By the way, there are NO overdubs on awesome as fuck. 100 percent live! Same as bullet in a bible.. Some bands cheat on live records"
Zelda Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 ^ That's because Green Day is badass and doesn't need any of that shit to sound good.
dmg04 Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Still addicted to letterbomb. That night will always hold a special place in my heart, and now i have two songs to remind me SanDiegoFTW
Met Fan Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 Great setlist, great direction and great quality on the DVD audio and video. Much better than BIAB imo.
pisquano Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 Has anyone noticed that the CD+DVD, filmed in Japan, has not even charted in the Japanese album chart?? I mean, that is a good market for Green Day.
pasalaska Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 The setlist on AAF is badass! I agree, the mix of old and new stuff is pretty much spot on.
Bastard of 1967 Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 Has anyone noticed that the CD+DVD, filmed in Japan, has not even charted in the Japanese album chart?? I mean, that is a good market for Green Day. With all respect, I think the Japanese fans have a little more on their collective minds right now than what's happening with the album.
Hermione Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 With all respect, I think the Japanese fans have a little more on their collective minds right now than what's happening with the album. Well yeah obviously less albums are being bought in Japan than usual because of the distaster there, but that affects all album's sales equally so it wouldn't affect Green Day's chart position. So it is quite surprising.
Malleus Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 BIAB sounds way more energetic than AAF to me. Billie seems like he is more bored, especially on the opening track.
Burnout98 Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 I just can't stop listening to J.A.R on the CD. And i can't stop watching My Generation on the DVD. They are both massive standouts in my opinion.
music_that_is Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 I still havent got it cause I'm still broke . Someone should get it for my birthday in a few weeks
loristroud Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 Baha, I walked in Hot Topic yesterday and walked up to the counter and said "You got any Green Day merchandise?" and the sales lady was like "Uhm their new cd..." "Already got it, what else ya got?" lol. I will buy anything with Green Day on it. I'm such a suckerrr. But this cd is great.
-Billiejoezee- Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 Aska that'd so cool. Still addicted to letterbomb. That night will always hold a special place in my heart, and now i have two songs to remind me SanDiegoFTW FUCK YES I'm not from SD but it's like my second home. But yes, now we got two songs to remind us of SD.
GDLoT Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 DETAILS: That album title, again, is Awesome As F**k. Apparently you don't care about selling records at Wal-Mart. Billie Joe Armstrong: The title came from when we went to Lollapalooza in 1992, when the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Ice Cube were on the bill. Mike [Dirnt] was holding up a sign that said "Ice Cube: Bad as Fuck." Then at all of our live shows kids starting holding up signs saying, "Awesome as Fuck." It was a tribute to them. ♥♥♥ Read More http://www.details.com/celebrities-entertainment/music-and-books/201105/billie-joe-armstrong-singer-actor-broadway-green-day#ixzz1JtQq0MRi
