Also, my theory for why they film in foreign countries may be that there would be less rivalry between cities (i.e. if they chose Boston, everyone else would be pissed). I bet they decided to film later in the tour as well, and I believe that Japan was the last stop where they were playing indoors. It would have been pretty difficult to film outdoors. So overall, I'm now comfortable with the fact that they filmed overseas, especially since Japan's audience was chill.
Sanity Loan Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 My favorite parts of the DVD/Blu-ray: 1) The face Billie makes in EJN after he says "And I'll be dressed up in my Sunday best" 2) The end of American Eulogy where Billie sings "Nobody likes you...." 3) In JOS where Billie sings "care" and does a three-step "up-pitch" (if that makes sense) 4) The end of JOS after the piano part in Tales From Another Broken Home where he goes "ohhhhhh" and the audience repeats it back 5) In Good Riddance where Billie does the little "oooohhh" in a falsetto 6) The end of Good Riddance where Billie plays the "dead" note to tease the audience (before playing the final G chord)
Juliette Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Watched it yesterday, love Though I don't like on a couple of songs they stay in weird colours for the whole thing. Like fair enough a shot or two in black & white but it just gets annoying when the whole song is imo anyway.

The way the video cuts to it is weird and seems quick. In the show, they must have quickly transitioned to that song or were holding a note over from the previous song

I don´t like the cutting and I miss the interview parts, like in bullet in a bible. But Mike´s performance in american eulogy rocks maybe we all talked too much about it and expected too much...y´know..

Yeah the interviews is why I love BIAB so much Yeah Mikes perfomance was so great!!!! Actually I wasnt dissapointed. I was a little disapointed about World Stage, and thats why I didnt expected that much. But it was awesome as fuck!! I specially loved Viva la Goria. It was so beautifull

I still think it's an awesome performance of the song, and the solo isn't half-bad, even if it is cut in half. Yeah, is it me or was it rather obvious where they cut it?

I either didn't have any time or the weather was too great to sit inside and watch TV. Lame excuses, I know. I have no idea though when I will finally get around to watch it. I hope it will be soon, cause I'm kinda excited for it.

I hope it will be soon, cause I'm kinda excited for it. lol, you're not alone i have AAF since last week (march 17th), i bought it a few minutes before i went to the cinema screening...but now at home i didnt managed it to watch the dvd or listen to the cd (school,work,bla bla bla)...i hope this weekend ill find some freespace to first listen to the album and then to watch the dvd again...but this time at home and not in cinema
