Hey, just bought it off iTunes. Sound amazing so far. Also, the video for When I Come Around is free to download today. Make sure someone alerts the news guys around here to the fact so everyone else can partake in the awesomeness. Now I must retreat into my room and savor this amazing album.

Live Holden Caulfield is some equal to album Holden Caulfield

I still haven't got it >:(

Did anyone else tear up during some songs on the cd, or was it just being being over-emotional? .. I think it was the excitement mixed in with shock all together that was made it overwhelming. When it got to J.A.R. I went into total fan-girl mode

The DVD was amazing! There were a couple spots that had some really bad editing, but overall it was good :) Nothing close to BIAB, but I really was hoping that it wouldn't and they're two completely different "monsters", in my opinion, but AAF definitely held it's own.

The American Idiot solo was insane.

I dig that Freese sings with a toothpick in his mouth.

I'm loving East Jesus Nowhere as well, its bringing me back. Woah-oh-oh-oh-oh!

AH MA GAWD. AH MA GAWD. I THOUGHT HE FINISHED WMUWSE TO GO TO GOOD RIDDANCE, BUT HE DIDN'T FORGET ABOUT IT AT ALL. AH MA GAWD

AAF >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> BIAB

The concert footage sure does because of the variety in songs, but I liked the interview and behind-the-scenes footage from BIAB.

Definitely. Especially WMUWSE, 21 Guns, JAR, and Who Wrote Holden Caulfield (mostly because I was at that show). 21 Guns was just BEAUTIFUL, and I had forgotten how it sounded on tour and all my memories just came flooding back to me.

Going to Pasalacqua sounded amazing, dare I say better than the Foot in Mouth version, which has always been my favorite. But WHY, WHY, WHY did they cut out the guitar intro? It just doesn't sound right with the way they edited that out.

And there were a few instances where the auto-tune was just really obvious, like "grave" and "cons" in 21CB and in "today" in EJN at about 4:20. It still pisses me off, because I KNOW Green Day's better than that, but I'm trying to look past that.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with it. Sounds better than BIAB in a lot of ways.

And I still haven't had the chance to watch the DVD yet, I'll post what I think later.

Does anyone know what "ginge Tokyo" means? Billie says it after Holiday and a few other times in the show.

Also, its kind of surreal to think that the people who were at this show may not all be alive anymore due to the disaster.

Yeah, I thought about that too while I was watching it... Thats just weird. And so sad :( We can just hope hat they're all right..

tokyo is far enough inland to not be devastated by the earthquake / tsunami, but yes its still very sad that japan was hit with such a disaster.

and I too would like to know what "ginge tokyo" means

Going To Pasalacqua is soooooo good. I can't help but jam out every time I hear it on AAF. When I Come Around is amazing as well.

On the DVD The Static Age was in instant highlight, as I was speechless when Freese came out with his sax. It added an entirely new dimension to the song. Amazing.

I just got back from the store! and now I'm having a concert in my room while I do my homework :runaround::banana::dance:

I watched the DVD and it was okay. It really wasn't that amazing to me, it was okay. And when I watched She, I don't know about the microphones.. was it auto tune? It sounded really horrible in some parts =/

I got it on sale for about 12.99, but if I had spent any more I would've felt like I wasted my money. However I really do enjoy the CD

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but in the AAF CD booklet thingy, Jeff Matika is credited as Jaff Matika.

I went onto itunes to buy AAF but is there only the CD up for sale online? what about the video?

I just got home from buying it at Walmart. I'm listening to the CD right now, it's amazing. I'm going to watch the DVD later tonight. :woot:

The only thing I don't like is the fact that it's just in a normal CD case, hahaaa. I was kind of hoping it'd be in a bigger one, like an actual DVD. Oh well, guess BIAB wasn't either and the only thing that matters is what's on the discs. I'm excited to watch the DVD later.
