Salmonator. Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 Sorry if this has been answered in the previous pages, how did people in the US get the bonus tracks? I know it's been released as different dates in other places but did someone post a link or something?
Anja Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 I find Gloria and My Generation damn awesome videos!!!!!!! And Billie's voice sounds really hot in My Generation I gotta say. This!! When I watched it on big screen last night with that typical cinema HD sound...I was blown-away! I thought this was fucking rock'n'roll! The song just sounded so different from GD but it was just pure awesomeness.
BringMoreKnives Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 It's coming out tuesday?! Didn't relize that. I'm a horrible fan
Metanoia Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 This!! When I watched it on big screen last night with that typical cinema HD sound...I was blown-away! I thought this was fucking rock'n'roll! The song just sounded so different from GD but it was just pure awesomeness. Yeah I know exactly what you mean, I was just like really woah damn this is fucking great! Though I just saw it on out TV screen with average TV sound.
The Guy Called Kill Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 Still a bit confused as to how people in the UK etc have managed to listen to the bonus tracks when wherever I look I can't find any signs of them.
Angie-Marie Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 I can't stop reading this thread! Tuesday can't come quick enough! I know! I'm so looking forward to that moment when I come home and see that my copy came in the mail.

The Guy Called Kill Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 illegal downloading. I mean more with the fact that they haven't become available easily through those channels.
Clockwise Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Can't find the bonus tracks anywhere, I really need Christie Road, cuz it's from my show. Watching the DVD now! God they're amazing!
luvgirlcl Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Apparently I'm going to be one of the last people here to see/listen AAF. I still have a week to go, guys.
Blond-O-Sonic Shimmer Trap Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 For those looking for bonus tracks, you've heard of Google right?
Clockwise Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 For those looking for bonus tracks, you've heard of Google right? No, what's that? I've searched google. PLUS: Don't download ILLEGAL music often, hahaha.
Jacob. Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 For those looking for bonus tracks, you've heard of Google right? Nothing about the bonus tracks on Google. If anyone does happen to find something, that would be pretty cool.
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Yeah I'd like the bonus tracks too. ----- Welllll then I kind of decided that I was going to watch it at midnight because yeah. It's now past 1:30am And I have a LOT of notes I made while watching. I always have a lot of thoughts and like to write them down, so I'll just post them here as well. Will put it in a spoiler so I won't stretch the page and so it won't, well, spoil it for people who haven't seen it yet. It's kind of just random notes, not a story. The slow-motion during EJN, like, when there's an instrumental part before/when he's looking for someone to be saved.... RAAAHHH Oh my God it was annoying. The frantic faces and flailing Billie did when trying to get the EJN guy to stagedive were hilarious The editing before the Zieg Heil part in Holiday was really weird, kind of jumpy. I didn't know Billie did an actual hitler-greeting (that what it's called in English?) when he does the Zieg Heil thing. :/ but for the rest I really liked that part, it was strong. And lol @ that random one second stagediver. Static Age is just still fucking great live, I loved it. Liked how in the beginning Jason and Mike did this like shoulder bump like thing and the pink mask Billie put on! and the "TOKIO!" right after Static Age was finished was like, wow. I really liked Gloria, how it like, booooom after the piano part. I'd only seen a Gloria live vid like, once before, so it was kind of new. I really liked it. Loved the colours of the spotlights BoBD was, as expected, great, but the slow-motion in the beginning was annoying as well. Too much of it. I liked how Billie went like "WE ARE ALIVE" after "check my vital signs to know I'm still alive..". In all BoBD was pretty great, but it didn't capture the spirit of the actual live show thing. Which it kind of impossible to capture, but yeah. And the power was kind of gone. Still great, though. Wtf was up with Burnout being completley in yellow. GSB was nice as well. Funny how at some point Mike was like shaking really hard, it looked funny. I really liked the effects they put in Welcome to Paradise, looked cool and it wasn't overdone (that's my main problem with the effects in AAF, it's sometimes overdone, too much of it). Welcome to Paradise as a whole was great too, definitely among the better performances/songs/videos of the dvd. What I liked as well was that when Billie sang "dear mother can you hear me laughing", he had this giant smile on his face. And WICA being completely in black and white.... yeah. Then came My Generation, which I had sorta forgotten, so that was a "hey that's nice" moment. I really liked how it sounded, it was great =D then the photographs and the break... not sure about that. She, well, it's always great. The last part was sung quite great In 21 Guns, there was this one shot during some part in the bridge, which was really cool. It was like, from a very low perspective, looking up at Billie, and there were these effects that are in almost the whole song, like the blue and yellow and sharp stuff, and the image was really pretty. And the piano part before the last choruses.... well, it's always beautiful, but it sounded really good here. Then, I had forgotten about American Eulogy, so that was like "Hey that's nice! " when they started playing it. The "Well I don't give a shit about the modern age" with both Billie and Mike singing sounded cool And Billie going "nobody likes you" etc in the end was nice too. Jesus of Suburbia... well, it's great, it's always great and will always be great. It reminds me why I love this band so much. It wasn't the greatest performance of the song (that one goes to one of the South American shows), but yeah, they can't exactly screw it up. Good Riddance.. really beautiful. It was beautifully sung, it's a beautiful song, and the spot thingy looks beautiful too. Then as for Cigarettes and Valentines... that one I'd seen before, but yeah. It's still very impressive how Billie can change his tie (or sometimes even shirt?), guitar and hair colour so fast, and how he's quite all over the stage, going from one side to the other within a second When it was finished, I wanted to watch it again but I'm tired as hell. I don't think I fully appreciated it because I'm really tired, I've had an exhausting week, no real emotions came out (lol I almost fell asleep during the endless "hooooooooome" stuff in JOS). But it was great nonetheless. And I'll just listen the CD tomorrow and go to bed now 'cause it's almost 2am I have the brown case dookie. Never seen a green one. But €20 is still a lot! My parents would never let me buy a DVD that's 30 Unless it had special, special features. wow, those results. Never heard of a brown case dookie. Lol if you'd visit the Netherlands, it's all the Dookie you'll ever see Haha, it is, but that's the way it is. Well I'd say Green Day is a special feature
dria021772 Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 No, what's that? I've searched google. PLUS: Don't download ILLEGAL music often, hahaha. Oh shit that made me spit my Rum and Coke all over myself Apparently I'm going to be one of the last people here to see/listen AAF. I still have a week to go, guys. I'm waiting too! Well okay at least to watch the blueray...I had to work from home today so I was Forced to listen...it is fantastic and made working soooo much easier

pasalaska Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Also, while searching on another website how much it costs in other places, these were the (only!) results. http://img339.imageshack.us/img339/8772/huhg.png [/storytime] OMFG. a guide to Perth should be the last result that turns up in a search for 'awesome as fuck'
basKT_case90 Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 I was really surprised when it got to Burnout. I knew it was going to be on the live video, but i didn't read the tracklist to see at what part. Then the drum intro to Christian's Inferno started playing, and i thought to myself, "hmmm, i dont remember this being on the tracklist". and then it transitioned straight into Burnout!!!! The was completely unexpected but so amazing!
Marie_GD Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 The Cigarettes and Valentines video JUST premiered on MTV Brazil!
Sara Armstrong Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 i'm going to buy it on the 29th. so excited.
-Billiejoezee- Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Never heard of a brown case dookie. What I found. back front mines isn't 2 disc though.
Job Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Is it just me, or are there a few weird audio glitches here and there? Like sounds were copy and pasted almost. For example, during 21st Century Breakdown, at the very end when Billie Joe sings "heroes and coouns," it sounds clipped or something. Also, on When I Come Around, his voice sounds echoey then suddenly becomes less echoey in the middle. Anyone else hear these?
