sampy Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 OK, I've officially given up on waiting til the actual release on Tuesday... I'm popping the illegally downloaded cd into my surround sound system as we speak... SO FUCKING PUMPED!!! Although I'm obviously not watching the DVD until I have it in Blu-Ray on Tuesday... I'm THIS close to listen to one or two songs from YouTube, but I don't wanna ruin my first listening with shitty YouTube-quality.. And there's still no any stream which is available in Finland.. If even one pops up, I might play it! MAYBE! But I'm not going to watch any videos, I can wait until I have the DVD.
captain peroxide Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Pray tell, how many artists has a 15-year-old had to autotune in the studio? I'm not hearing any obvious autotune on the whole record... To be perfectly honest, both of these thoughts have been lingering in my head. I'm not sure how much professional experience you could've had at age 15, and I'm also not hearing any obvious autotune in any songs. If it is used, it's very sparingly / subtly, and really isn't a big deal anyway.

But still fucking anoying lol.
xjernpqvrnbfv Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Tomorrow <3 I can't wait to listen to the songs I asked Müller (that's a store in Austria/Germany) and they said the DVD version costs 16,99€ and the blue ray one 19,99€ yup. I'm hella excited

I'm hella excited Just 16.99 €? Well I asked them in Saturn (you know it?) and it will be like 18.99 € .. Hmm maybe the German/Austria prizes are different? Orrrr... Müller sells it cheaper?
mega_lou Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 For the bonus tracks on iTunes, can you only get them by pre-ordering the album? Or will they be available when it's released as well?
EvanAsFuck Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Oh my god, AAF is just amazing... No words right now can describe how happy I am...
oda Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 For bonus tracks on iTunes, can you only get them by pre-ordering the album? Or will they be available when it's released as well? Letterbomb and Christie Road is available separate on play.com, so i'm guessing they will be on iTunes too.

Sarabeth Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Gotta resist, gotta resist, gotta resist... I'm debating on whether or not to listen to it. I don't want to because I want the 22nd to be special, but I don't want to wait 5 days. these decisions are driving me crazy!!!
Alan86 Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 هذا دي في دي هو رائع كما يمارس الجنس I hope it is. This is not an Arabic Forum

EvanAsFuck Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 WHAT THE FUCK! On American Idiot they cut the guitar solo right before the best part of it where Billie does this crazy palm muted rythm thing... I'm so pissed!

felipemorais09 Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Holden Caufield and J.A.R are the best tracks on the record. Amazing!
Blond-O-Sonic Shimmer Trap Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Holden Caufield and J.A.R are the best tracks on the record. Amazing! Agree! And She as well with the "I said heey-eeyy"s at the start rounds off the top 3, still hoping my favourite Green Day song Letterbomb blows them out of the park though.
GuitarPunk94 Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 just got back from my trip to the cinema screening.. in germany the official release date of the album is March 18th..but the local store sold it today(very funny...they took the price sticker to hide the word "..F**K" !! so i got my copy of this amazing work from green day ^^ the cinema screening was just amazing, kids and older green day fans in a sold out cinema...nearly everyone clapped in the hands and everyone was singing the songs and screaming out the "hey oh's" it just felt like being back in the past at the concert ive seen in mainz/cologne (germany)...so emotional, now i just want green day to come back to germany so that i can see them live again xD and now i can really understand why they've decided to use the tokyo concert for the bonus-dvd with the japanese crowd...because everybody interacted with billie and the music...the japanese people just rocked it --- i recognized that sometimes billie's voice sounds like he's taken some helium in the dvd-recording(his voice sounds a bit "thinner/higher" than normally (on the cd-records))...i remember that it was the same at an indoor concert of them i went to , but not at an open-air concert...is there someone who recognized this too, his "higher" voice?
DorsetGirl Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 I still don't understand why there's two slightly different versions - one called Awesome as F**K (ASIN: B004GHBQ7O) and one called Awesome as **** (ASIN: B004L6BGIE) which apparently has one extra track (She) on the DVD. I've decided I can't wait any longer, and I'm going to order the latter because why would I choose to have one less track. But I really don't get why they've put out two slightly different versions of the DVD?
felipemorais09 Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 No idea when they gonna release Awesome as Fuck here in Brazil. We have just one site to pre-order the album, but is the imported version (too expensive) ------- I just found a website pre-ordering the album. But they will ship just in april 22.

Anyone else know anything about this?
