HeißblütigerPinguin Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Really hope they do this right, this tour was just too long, the show too grand and the performances and setlists so varied and fresh to just stick 15 edited songs on a CD and DVD, about 12 of which from the last two albums. The time frame is promising, I'd rather wait 6 months for an epic 30+ song set than have what I just mentioned by Christmas. They have a chance to make one of the best live records in history here, the material is that good. Hope the DVD is just different performances or at least offers an option to miss out any backstage stuff, and just watch the gig. That's what bothers me so much when I watch BIAB! + plus: YAY, birthday-wish

I mean I was at the Wembley so I'd order the Wembley one. But I'd be happy with one show with commentars and extras like BIAB, but NO MIX! I think it would be the worst idea Its just my opinion

Nothing wrong with three years waiting. That's normal. I just hope it won't be another 5 years like it was with American Idiot - 21st Century Breakdown.. But waiting for Green Day albums etc. is so worth it! (I'd rather wait for them to put out a fantastic, well thought of record, than having a new record now with random songs on them) I know 2011 will be a great year. At least we have more things to look forward to.

They have lots of time to choose the best songs, venues and do whatever they want. So it'll probably be damn good. Negative: At least six months until it's out. W? T? F? But I know it will be well worth the wait.

And now we finally know for sure that we're getting a DVD, so that's even better! Well now there's another thing to look forward to about summer 2011 so. Can't wait! As for the DVD, I hope it's footage from a lot of concerts. And backstage stuff ....
