November's Storms Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 You! Nah, but I really could watch out for someone Though I don't think my mom would let me go anyways.. you'd have to win the competition first you can sort out the details later if you do. If you win and choose me I will not object! No way, surely your parents wouldn't say no if you won a competition to go to NY? I mean, they should know how much it would mean to you!
Metanoia Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 If you win and choose me I will not object! No way, surely your parents wouldn't say no if you won a competition to go to NY? I mean, they should know how much it would mean to you! Well, I wish so...I had so fucking many conversations with my mom already about stuff like that and I really tried to explain and show her how much everything about Green Day means to me abut she's just being so hard-bitten when its about stuff like that..idk.
EvanAsFuck Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Damn them for not having the 2010 shows yet... Site looks pretty sick though!
luvgirlcl Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 When I saw about the map thingy, 'share your story' I got super excited...and then saw that they haven't added the 2010 shows Hurry up, people from awesomeasfuck.net! I want to enter the competition and be a winner! (but not like Charlie Sheen)
oda Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Hey check this out! 2/23/11?? (1 people said they were there)
Katarina. Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Hey check this out! 2/23/11?? They clearly made a mistake. Ha, one person said he/she was there.
drumstick Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 the new site looks awesome! I just hope they'll add 2010 shows soon so I can enter the competition.
EvanAsFuck Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 It says that they played at the Vermont Memorial Auditorium in Burlington, Vermont on May 13th 1998... That's literally 15 minutes from my house, and I've personally played there with my own band a few times (matter of fact we're playing a show there this Saturday)... Obviously a mistake, but it's weird that something like that would even come up being a place like Vermont where NO bands like GD ever come... Haha, I had a little laugh/heart attack when I saw that...
Bastard of 1967 Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 so basically this website is just a big mess atm? Did you expect anything less from Warner marketing? AAF - Welcome To Paradise is now available in HD on the band's official Youtube channel. I'll try to get y'all a Megaupload link to it later tonight.
EvanAsFuck Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Also on their facebook it says 'If you’ve ever been pulled up on stage by the mighty Billie Joe, make sure you get in touch with us at greendaycompetition@warnermusic.com' is anyone else having trouble sending an email? it keeps coming up 'delivery notification failure' for me It seems to have worked fine for me... AAF - Welcome To Paradise is now available in HD on the band's official Youtube channel. SIIIICK!!! Thanks for posting that!
oda Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Did you expect anything less from Warner marketing? That's what they get for letting a drunk pink bunny build their website. well atleast it looks nice.

Haha, I had a little laugh/heart attack when I saw that... Well maybe they did back before Dookie?
Chapmey Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 Currently watching my own little AAF preview. I compiled you tube clips of the Dallas show to recreate it and finally got around to transferring it to DVD. So fucking amazing to see it again! Can't wait to see how the other shows compare on AAF!
