Alan86 Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Or they gonna perform live!? Less likely but it's always possible, we'll just have to wait for an official announcement.
Velocity Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Ooh, neat! But they need to have U.S. screenings too
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 butbutbut it needs to be released on the 22nd. ! haha Special UK events... I hope special events will happen in other places too.
EvanAsFuck Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 What's with the UK getting all the special screenings?
gdpony Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 March is almost here! ahhh I can't wait! The only thing that worries me is waiting a little longer for it to arrive to my country -_-
November's Storms Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 UK events can always include Ireland...long shot but ya never know!
XxRedundantCastaway86xX Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 What's with the UK getting all the special screenings? This
TheSaltOfTheEarth Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 I really hope the special events aren't only in the UK ... North America (especially Canada) needs some love too
jake smith Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 This article is pretty interesting. Release date as the 21st of march and hints at possible cinema showings in the uk maybe http://www.gigwise.com/news/61053/Green-Day-Confirm-New-Album-DVD-Awesome-As-F*ck that's a good idea, but haven't they already done that with a live show from the 21st Century Breakdown tour?
Alan86 Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 UK events can always include Ireland...long shot but ya never know! Its more like UK events may include Dublin
Tubbie Head Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 butbutbut it needs to be released on the 22nd. ! haha Special UK events... I hope special events will happen in other places too. Yesss =(
Alan86 Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 that's a good idea, but haven't they already done that with a live show from the 21st Century Breakdown tour? Well that had nothing to do with "awesome as fuck". It might not even be a cinema showing, it just says special events.
Sanity Loan Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 I had pre-ordered the Blu-ray for $29.xx after 2-Day shipping a couple weeks ago but cancelled today because I signed up for Amazon's Student thing. You get a free membership to Amazon Prime for 1-year... and free 2-day shipping on basically anything. And so the Blu-ray+CD combo says if you pre-order it and choose 2-day shipping, you'll get it on the 22nd (release date). So I pre-ordered it (again) and chose my free 2-day shipping. So it'll be on my doorstep on the 22nd for $21.xx - and I used a gift card I had so free
Burnout98 Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Why did they have to push it back to March 22nd?
November's Storms Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Its more like UK events may include Dublin Very true! I'm guessing your not from Dublin? I detect bitterness in that
Ellenkc Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Hopefully Dublin will be included in 'special events'. I'm not even going to suggest another city, Dublin is the only one with a chance
greendaytone Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 This article is pretty interesting. Release date as the 21st of march and hints at possible cinema showings in the uk maybe http://www.gigwise.com/news/61053/Green-Day-Confirm-New-Album-DVD-Awesome-As-F*ck Cheers for posting that As a long shot, i could see Green Day performing at festivals this summer on the back of it. Ya never know!
jtdscape Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Why did they have to push it back to March 22nd? It is only a weeks difference. It isn't that bad.
Burnout98 Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 It is only a weeks difference. It isn't that bad. Yeah i know. But i'm not patient.
Ellenkc Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 What did they do for BIAB's release? Was it just the premiere or did they do a few signing and stuff like that?
Metanoia Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Whawhawha??? This is the official german site for Green Day and its saying that it will be released on 18th here??? I can only hope thats true I'd literally freak the fuck out!! But it might be possible right since as far as I know in 2005 BIAB also got released earlier here.. but whaaa The Fabulous Link
Alan86 Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Very true! I'm guessing your not from Dublin? I detect bitterness in that No bitterness at all (maybe a bit of jealousy though) Yeah I'm not from Dublin
OliDayyy Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 What did they do for BIAB's release? Was it just the premiere or did they do a few signing and stuff like that? There were some screenings in the UK, and the band was here in London: http://www.greendayauthority.com/Picture_Vault/thumbnails.php?album=66 I wonder what are these events, I hope we'll find out it pretty quickly!
Alan86 Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Cheers for posting that As a long shot, i could see Green Day performing at festivals this summer on the back of it. Ya never know! No problemo, anything is possible. Billie did say in his tweet after mike joined him onstage at the musical that he just wants to get in a van and tour again so you never know, it could happen
