Juliette Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Just realised When It's Time isn't on there Gutted, I love that song so much more live than the album version.
Tubbie Head Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 To be fair KFAD is fun to watch the first time, but watching the same performance again and again would grow boring after a while. But the version they are doing now is different from the BIAB one... That's why I would loved to have it in there, I think I like this new version better with all the guys singing Shout, Billie on the drums (don't know if that happened in Tokyo but still) ... It's just much better, and well for me their live KFAD never gets old, I sometimes put BIAB on just to watch KFAD/Shout! Anyway, this is not complaining, 'cause I couldn't be happier with the track list!!
Bastard of 1967 Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 omg! omg! omg! They picked two songs from their concert in Austria! I'm so fucking excited!! Your sig pic is killing me.
Guest Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 a girl got pulled up for KYE? also, it may be the 2010 Manchester show, we don't know yet I thought it was a guy. If I remember correctly Yeah, it could be one of the 2009 shows
xjernpqvrnbfv Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 This might be a silly question but I was wondering if I pre-order the album on amazon, will i get it on march 15 or do they send it away on march 15? Because then it would probably make more sense to buy it in a record store or something. Lol I hope you guys understand what i'm talking about

Lol I hope you guys understand what i'm talking about Amazon will ask you when you check out if you want it delivered on that day. I have a prime account and get the upgraded shipping for free so I don't know if they charge a lot extra for the faster shipping.

Because then it would probably make more sense to buy it in a record store or something. Lol I hope you guys understand what i'm talking about 1) No one will be getting it on March 15th because the album doesn't come out until the 22nd 2) If you can buy it at a record store, then do it. You save on shipping and you'll be guaranteed to get it on the 22nd 3) If you pre-order from Amazon and you choose two-day or next-day, you'll get it on the 22nd. If you choose Standard or Free Super-Saver, it wont ship until the 22nd and probably wont show up until the 30th.
AndrewW91 Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 My local record store sells albums right when they get them, even if it's before the release date. I think I'm going to pre-order it there at the hopes of getting it early.
Laura! Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 I preordered BIAB from Amazon and ended up getting it a few days after it was released.

I pre-order from Amazon all the time and they are great, If you have a prime account the shipping is free even the upgraded shipping and I didn't have to pay tax...so cheaper than going to the store for me
27dan27 Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 fuck off! i wanted a huge track list! remember when billie wrote "tons of songs" on twitter?well, where the hell are they!???!?! green day has done shows with more than 40 songs, those were awesome tracklist, this tracklist is shit! not to mention the choice of the venues, it' s all about marketing! fans that follow green day abroad for their gigs, know of what I'm talking about. usa, london etc. are just clichés! sorry but that is the truth... seriously, i'm really disappointed...and i am not offended by the absence of my country on the record (italy), but they did gigs 10 times better than those they picked (south america, germany, europe in summer and asia for example.this point is more about the video by the way). they should have released a live cd with 50 songs or so with the VERY BEST of the world tour! and what about the dvd???is that so complicated to put out a whole fucking concert!?!? this album should be called where the fuck is the awesomeness!
Katarina. Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 they should have released a live cd with 50 songs or so with the VERY BEST of the world tour! and what about the dvd???is that so complicated to put out a whole fucking concert!?!? That would be unrealistic. And expensive. I think that they made a fantastic tracklist. You know, you can't include every rarely played song/rare song they played during the tour. There are 17 songs on the CD, which is quite a lot. In my opinion they chose great songs. I mean, Who Wrote Holden Caulfield is on it. Going to Pasalacqua is on it. Burnout is on it. Just to name a few. There are songs from every Green Day record (except for Warning) on this! I never expected that to happen. I'm so excited there's going to be a live album and DVD AT ALL. And more personally, I know I've seen Green Day twice on this world tour. To have Awesome as Fuck, it made me realize we are all part of this, even though not all of "our" songs from the shows we went to are on it. It's about the fans, and the Awesome as Fuck tour and setlists. Then I think they did a great job making the live album.

Bastard of 1967 Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 fuck off! i wanted a huge track list! Ummmm....okay......
Sanity Loan Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 fuck off! i wanted a huge track list! remember when billie wrote "tons of songs" on twitter?well, where the hell are they!???!?! green day has done shows with more than 40 songs, those were awesome tracklist, this tracklist is shit! not to mention the choice of the venues, it' s all about marketing! fans that follow green day abroad for their gigs, know of what I'm talking about. usa, london etc. are just clichés! sorry but that is the truth... seriously, i'm really disappointed...and i am not offended by the absence of my country on the record (italy), but they did gigs 10 times better than those they picked (south america, germany, europe in summer and asia for example.this point is more about the video by the way). they should have released a live cd with 50 songs or so with the VERY BEST of the world tour! and what about the dvd???is that so complicated to put out a whole fucking concert!?!? this album should be called where the fuck is the awesomeness! Calm down Why don't you contact Warner and ask them to put out a 50-song CD set and see what kind of response you get
farley drexel hatcher Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 My sister tried looking for this at work but no luck (she works at HMV.) She tried every variation of "awesome as fuck" she could think of, and nothing, so I guess it's just not on there yet. I'm just wondering what the price will be in the UK.
November's Storms Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Starting a post with fuck off is never a good way to get support for your argument. Ignoring your stupid anger and bitching, you talked about marketing. The track list decisions were definitely not made for making money, the songs on it were chosen for the fans. Songs like Who Wrote Holden Caulfield, Paper Lanterns, JAR and Cigs and Vals are there for the fans, not the sales. I'm sure they wrote a ton of songs they could have put on Insomniac, are you upset because it's too short?
Nickofsuburbia Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 i have a feeling that the varied venues for the CD will help the live versions of songs get lots of airplay
27dan27 Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 my God you are all so touchy! I was just getting feelings off my chest! get to the point, don't stop at the language, should I put a parental advisory next time? the critics on marketing were about the choice of the venues, not the choice of the songs. they should just have been more! it' s not a mission impossible ... look at other bands, pearl jam just to give you an example. A self - defined biggest rock band in the world (and I agree on that) should be balder
AndrewW91 Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 I just got real excited for She, for some reason. I wasn't even listening to the song.
luvgirlcl Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 my God you are all so touchy! A self - defined biggest rock band in the world (and I agree on that) should be balder Yeah, maybe we are touchy, but there are different ways of saying what you want to say, I get it that you didn't like the tracklist, but starting your 'argument' with 'Fuck off' won't get you taken very seriously, it just makes you sound irrational and dumb. The choice of the venues is irrelevant, because that comes in second place to choosing the BEST songs to put in the CD, I'm betting that they guys made the choices thinking 'what were the best songs played' instead of 'what were our favorite venues, and hey! let's choose some song from there!'. And in terms of wanting a bigger tracklist, let me know when you invent a CD with more capacity than those that are available nowadays
Nickofsuburbia Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 A self - defined biggest rock band in the world (and I agree on that) should be balder i dont know i quite like Billie, Mike, and Tre's hair
