Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Suggestion: don't turn this thread into one big list of "I wish this song was on there". The tracklist is really nothing to complain about if you think about what they could have done with it, and I think it's great we're even getting a live album and DVD.
mallorymaloney Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 WHAT THE FUCK CANADA ISN'T EVEN INCLUDED GREEN DAY, I AM DISAPPOINT ... And no, Montreal doesn't fucking count. First the Tokyo only thing, now a shitty track list ... This sucks. This sucks massive drunk pink bunny balls.
Sabz Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 I got every song I wanted yays! I actually am happy with the DVD becuase it shows the setlist staples and all the "epic" perfonces with the pyro and stuff they used, not just them and their instruments, Ya'know? AE has made the DVD so much better than if it was minority though, we had that on BIAB, I want to see songs we haven't that get the sane effects and epicness
The Guy Called Kill Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 I would have like to see a double CD. Paul McCartney did it for his gig in NY and put a full concert DVD in there as well. Heh. Maybe I'm asking too much.

But the first hours is for dissapoiment of the people. I understand South American people, its sad for they that 0 songs are form S.A.... But the only thing that i dont understand is why only a fex songs?? I mean, you put a CD/DVD and you have been recorded a lot of shows. Ey, put 30 songs, not 17, and put 20 in DVD. You know, theres a limit, ok, but i actually think that this limit could be bigger, but is my opinion

Laura! Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 We have 37 total songs on AAF. We had 28 on BIAB (14 on CD and DVD). I think we have a pretty good combination of songs here. Plus, they might have not put more songs on the DVD because of the possibility of backstage stuffs.

Nobody_Likes_You Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Though I don't really like the whole theme of this, I do find this setlist amazing! There's even a song from Berlin included, which makes me happy:) Overall very good chosen setlist and I am also excited, that King for a Day isn't on there, too. I cannot see that thing anymore.
Agija Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 They didn't put in Waiting, at Wembley, which I think was the best song on the setlist Exactly my thoughts.
Martyn Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 I reaaaaally hope that 21st Century Breakdown is from Wembley, it was the most spine-tingling song of my entire life. it is The first 4 songs come from the UK 2010 date and the irish one

Webb_2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Sorry if this has already been posted but do you have to buy the entire album off iTunes to get the extra songs? I've never bought an album on iTunes before... I would love to have a physical copy of the cd though. I'm the son of rage and love Time of my life- 7/13/09. Chicago, Ill

But there were better german songs They also could've chosen I fought the Law, from Cologne 09. Whatever The thing about King for a day is that it's only amazing live. On a cd, you just don't get the feeling!
Undómiel Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 At least there's a song from Wembley on it... Now I will be able to relive/remember how it felt when I heard the opening of 21st Century Breakdown at Wembley....
Blond-O-Sonic Shimmer Trap Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Is Paul McCartney also doing shows for over 2 1/2 hours? He is.
Fuzz Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 I really wanna know that too (Wembley or first night at the O2 please!). Someone should get Andres to ask their people about it I haven't had a chance to really check out the setlist, but just to check, are any of the shows listed from 2009? For some reason I just figured they were all from 2010.
AllIWannaDoIs... Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 ... And no, Montreal doesn't fucking count. While I'm not crazy about the cover, I look forward to buying this in March

For some reason I just figured they were all from 2010. there is stuff from 2009 but berlin is obviously 2009 becuase there wasn't any show in summer 10, and in the other case it explicitly says 2009 .. i'd guess it's from wembley 10, but you can never know.
jos_whatsername Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 But there were better german songs exactly! I'm not really complaining about this, but hannover was the first european show (after pinkpop i think but that was a festival) and i kinda guessed they'd put burnout or something from hannover on that CD. simply because they played it there first, but they also didn't pick C&V from denver and they played that there first (and twice!) as we all know.. but all in all, i'm soo happy about this the only thing that sucks as well is that physical CD without bonus tracks-thing. especially since the bonus tracks are letterbomb and christie road and those are AMAZING. i just hope we can buy them seperately !
Tubbie Head Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 the band were involved in decided the track listing. dont know if anybody else was, like their management or anybody from the record company. from the press release I would say they chose all of them. Yeah, I think that really shows.
