pasalaska Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Well I hope so. I don't buy the album in digital form because of that songs. I want to have a physical cd, obviously. But I'm not the kind of rich bitch who buys the album twice I think Warner is smart enough to realise that if they don't keep them up for sale people will just download them illeagally plus, they make money from us buying the physical copy, so I can't see that they'd penalise us for going with the physical copy over the digital one
GDJonny Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 I thought people were complaining about how Welcome To Paradise wasn't played in Tokyo so it won't be on the DVD...... Huh? But it was...Or I'm I missing some sarcasm....
21st Century Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Edit: oh and the cover looks like it was done in less than two minutes in Photoshop. I honestly thought it was a fake when I first saw it..! That is such a letdown after the BIAB cover, which is the best they ever did in my opinion. yeah true it does look a little bit unprofessional, and probably more time was spent on the BIAB cover....but i think thats perfect... BIAB = serious title, serious cover Awesome as Fuck - 'fanmade' title, so why not a simpler cover? no problem for me
darenmay Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 i'm not really keen to live versions, so i'm only excited for the dvd. too bad the setlist looks nothing really special.
Chris P FaFu Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 still doin the happy dance!!!! Detroit!!! J.A.R.!!!!! i am happy for the whole thing and wouldve been if my city wasnt on it but... this band saved my life 18 yrs ago so... im just smilin.
Sanity Loan Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Huh? But it was...Or I'm I missing some sarcasm.... Maybe I'm confusing it with another song.... not too sure. Edit: It was from the fake track-list that was posted on setlist.fm. It has Welcome to Paradise from Pinkpop on the CD....... but WTP wasn't played at Pinkpop. That's what I was confused about. I was wrong Sorry!
Tubbie Head Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 I'm soooo happy about the track list!!!! Can't wait for the bonuses too!! Specially Christie Road (acoustic I hope) and Letterbomb! It's fantastic, but they should have used songs from different places, there are a few repeated locations.. The only thing I'm missing there is King for a Day, in the DVD.. It would be so cool to see. but it's ok. The CD track list makes everything all right! So many rarities! They finally got it right
Sanity Loan Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 on a slightly off-topic topic, what were the bonus tracks that were released with 21CB on iTunes? was it Another State Of Mind, Like A Rolling Stone, A Quick One While He's Away and That's Alright? because someone was saying that once the album was released, you couldnt purchase them, but they're all up for purchase on iTunes now... so going on that, I'd assume the bonus tracks for this will be available for purchase individually too. It would cost Warner money to not have them up there... Yes, it was those four. Two of them (I don't remember which two) were pre-order only. Then, once the album was released, those two were taken off while the other two stayed... but were album-only (couldn't purchase individually). But when they released that "Green Day Collection" thing a few months ago, there were made available to purchase individually. Both on iTunes and Amazon. So I'm not too sure about the AAF bonus tracks. I could see it going both ways. BUT, I'm a sucker and get reeled in easily so I'll buy it either way. I mean, usually albums on iTunes come out the night before the release date (in the US store anyway) so it'd be good for listening to until I get the physical CD later that day. And good thing its coming out the 22nd now because I'd be gone on vacation for Spring Break when it was released and wouldn't be able to get it! But that's me being selfish.
Mato Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 yeah true it does look a little bit unprofessional, and probably more time was spent on the BIAB cover....but i think thats perfect... BIAB = serious title, serious cover Awesome as Fuck - 'fanmade' title, so why not a simpler cover? no problem for me yeah that's the way I look at it
Sanity Loan Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 I guess I'm the only one that likes the cover
Guest Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Manchester! I'm confused about where to buy it from though.....
Tubbie Head Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 I'm sure the bonus tracks will eventually end up online anyway. If not on YouTube, then somewhere else... yeah, 'course it will XD I guess I'm the only one that likes the cover you're not, I like it too =)

Sanity Loan Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 i like it too its just awesome for this cd/dvd especially the pink bunny and all green day members are on it I personally LOVE the pink bunny art. I think its... well... awesome. I printed a sticker of it and have it on my guitar!
luvgirlcl Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 I guess I'm the only one that likes the cover You're not alone. I like it, and this time (unlike BIB) the cover features the three guys, instead of only Billie (even if Tre is hidden somewhere in between the drums ), which I'm thankful for. AND, by showing Billie and Mike jumping it gives me more of the high energy feeling of the tour.
idc Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 I guess I'm the only one that likes the cover absolutely not
GuitarPunk94 Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 I printed a sticker of it and have it on my guitar! xD same here...got a sticker of this bunny on my guitar too just awesome with the F * * K ..the eyes used for the stars ^^

Sanity Loan Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Ohh damn, I just found out that the Christie road they played in Hartford was the regular version Not the acoustic one. Damn... that would have been AMAZING to have the acoustic version
Juliette Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Yayyy love the track list So happy Glasgow & Wembley are on there.
luvgirlcl Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Ohh damn, I just found out that the Christie road they played in Hartford was the regular version Not the acoustic one. No way...crap. Well, regular Christie Road is better than none at all, though
Tubbie Head Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Damn... that would have been AMAZING to have the acoustic version Yeah! I know =(
Sanity Loan Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 I will for sure be buying two copies of this. The CD/DVD one and the CD/Blu-ray one. UNLESS they release the Blu-ray by itself like they did with BIAB. And maybe even THREE times if the iTunes bonus tracks are album-only.
