I'm disappointed that there's nothing from Costa Rica on the CD because they played some great stuff there, but it's still pretty cool, I guess. I can't wait to listen to it! :D

my biggest disappointment is the lack of 1000 Hours, but I was expecting that  Just a shame there wasn't anything from Prague or Quebec City, because those were the best 2 shows of the tour.

disappointment :(

I'm still very excited for this, just can't help being kind of sad there is nothing from the shows I went to :P

But yeah bring on March, I can't wait to hear it! =D

iTunes exclusives? Why is everyone trying to kill the whole CD and DVD thing? And why have Green Day joined them?

IMO, it should be a DVD exclusive, if anything. I'm not going to buy 3 God damn digital copies just to get a few songs.

Just realized there is no Waiting :( Ugh I'm so torn between being disappointed and being very happy about this...but I don't want to complain because they didn't have to release anything at all. So yeah, I guess I'll just keep my mouth shut before it sinks in and I can appreciate things again :P

I agree it's fecking annoying but it seems to be the done thing these days. I'll get them another way :eyebrow: . It's ridiculous that in this day and age people would actually be punished for buying physical copies of music.

i really like the setlist (like, the songs they chose) because it takes away all the similarities to the american idiot tour setlist. if they were gonna have the whole standard setlist there you'd need way more that one disc o.O but the songs they chose kind of highlight the flow of a 21CB tour show.

SO glad holden caulfield is on there, even if i wasnt at that show. a little bummed paper lanterns is an itunes bonus track... but ehh... at least its there :D

Money grabbing record companies do this, we respond with "illegal" (free) downloading.

Problem Warner? :eyebrow:

I like the setlist very much!

But I'm really disappointed that they didn't include King For A Day in the DVD!This song is so great live.

But then again the CD tracklist is awesome!

No King for a Day :(

But it's great!! :D

Geek Stink Breath is on the DVD and on the CD, both from Saitama-shi, Japan...

I think it's pretty decent. It could have been way worse! Of course I'm a bit dissapointed that there isn't anything from the shows I went to, but it doesn't really matter. We can't criticize too much since we haven't heard the recordings - maybe the audio for some of the ones they left out sounded like crap on the recordings.

I really dig the setlist. I've been to the concert in London and the one in Austria. I'm really suprised that Austria made it on the list. hah. JAR, Holden Caulfield, When I come Around and American Eulogy, Burnount, Going to Pasalaqua, Viva la Gloria, C&V, Christie Road woah. I'm impressed. I can't wait to listen to the album, the setlist is fantastic in my opnion.

I'd love the metal jam too!

wow i just had a little heart attack when i checked GDA and it FINALLY said "tracklist for the live album released".

I'm really really surprised (in a positive way!!! :D ) that they put stuff like burnout, pasalaqua (), who wroten holden caulfield

and stuff on. but thats amazing, so we're gonna have a high quality recording of a recent performance of those older

songs, thats just soo awesome :D yeah some "classic" songs are missing like basket case and minority.. and i would have

liked give me novacaine so much !

but anyways, i'm soooo looking foward :woot:

Oh and...quite a lot of South Americans are pissed :P

I, for one, am not. As much as I can complain that I would have liked to have such and such song instead, it's just in the heat of the moment where I'm just soaking in all the tracklist, because I can bet you my life that when this comes out, and I listen to it or watch it, I'll be excited just like when I went to see them

They did it with 21CB so it isn't new.

And I'm sure you can buy the tracks separately and not have to buy the whole album.

Why do you say 3 digital copies? iTunes has all the bonus tracks.... Amazon will have two of them.

Finally! :woot:

I must say I expected more rare songs, but I won't complain. Cigarettes And Valentines, Who Wrote Holden Caulfield (I hoped for Davey Havok version), Going To Paslacqua, J.A.R., Burnout, American Eulogy ...

I can't wait!! But isn't the release date supposed to be 15th?

I thought people were complaining about how Welcome To Paradise wasn't played in Tokyo so it won't be on the DVD......

I wouldn't call the DVD setlsit standard. Burnout, Geek Stink Breath, Welcome To Paradise and American Eulogy instead of Minority is more than I actually expected. They couldn't have made it any better because they didn't play any other rare songs (expect of 2000 LYA) in Tokyo. I'm pretty happy with the DVD.

It was clear they would put a few old songs on the CD since it was more important to them in my opinion. But I didn't expect these songs at all which is so awesome. I mean, here are people complaining about it, but did you really expect Who Wrote Holden Caulfield? Or Christie Road? Or J.A.R.? Simply amazing, I'm so happy with both sets, bring on March!!!

On a side note: I was talking to a friend yesterday and I told him how awesome it would be if they put on Holden Caulfield, Paper Lanterns and Pasalacqua... These are three of my five favourite Green Day songs ever and now they did it. Awesome!

totally agree with you!

now after seeing the setlist im like "ok, it is awesome as fuck(especially the cd)" and "were they drunk while choosing DVD setlist??"

i mean we wont get the big open air shows (wembley,etc..) so we have to take this japanese concert...but why then such a bad selist and so short? i mean its green day, they play extra long concerts! the dvd is just for the majority fans...i really hope there will be some backstage footage and green day foolishing around the whole time ^^

anyway im very happy with the cd setlist because it contains songs for the "normal" fans and a lot of old rare songs for harcore green day fans :D

just dont know why Good Riddance is from Nova Rock..

and im a bit pissed on that there is no song from a concert i went to (especially Mainz with It's Fuck Time, Viva La Gloria!, Pulling Teeth, NGFL)...but fortunately there is still 1 song from Germany

cant wait to hear the acoustic from the songs of the CD...but im not so excited about watching the DVD

I'm loving the tracklist.

DETROIT MADE IT!! :runaround:

i know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am soooo happy for this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

on a slightly off-topic topic, what were the bonus tracks that were released with 21CB on iTunes?

was it Another State Of Mind, Like A Rolling Stone, A Quick One While He's Away and That's Alright?

because someone was saying that once the album was released, you couldnt purchase them, but they're all up for purchase on iTunes now... so going on that, I'd assume the bonus tracks for this will be available for purchase individually too.

It would cost Warner money to not have them up there...

Posted

Well I hope so. I don't buy the album in digital form because of that songs. I want to have a physical cd, obviously. But I'm not the kind of rich bitch who buys the album twice

Posted

I'm quite excited now, theres some pretty amazing songs on there and i can't wait for how it sounds =} hope theres some extra on the dvd and that though :)

Posted

I'm sure the bonus tracks will eventually end up online anyway. If not on YouTube, then somewhere else...
