AndrewW91 Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 When played live with a breakdown in between Mike's final verse and an extended outro, it extends to almost seven minutes (if not longer). So does Minority. Sometimes it exceeds 10 minutes including band intros and what not.
The Snark Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Three hours later and still no tracklist?! I made another wallpaper. I hope you all like Sweeeeeeeeeeet! This is now my background. I gotta say that if they must censor the title, I really like how they incorporated the bunny in with the 'fuck'. Yes, I realize how that sounds. I just don't care.
Jacob. Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 No setlist in sight. Isn't Green Day's management just fantastic?
AndrewW91 Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Yep. I forgot the point I was trying to make.
Broken_Tune Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 cant wait! have the release date marked on my Green Day calander!
luvgirlcl Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 On Gibson.com they posted an article about the album: 'titled Awesome as [Expletive]' I'm probably the only one giggling at that, and inserting my expletive of choice in there... /cool story bro
AndrewW91 Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 I think so. Lol. I remember awhile back people were arguing that it couldn't be a single cause it was too long. That has nothing to do with anything though...lol.
jtdscape Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Yeah so I am guessing we aren't going to be getting this today.
Nickofsuburbia Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 alright this tracklist delay is taking this from "Awesome as Fuck" to "Awesome as Watching Porn" its just not the same
Job Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Yeah so I am guessing we aren't going to be getting this today. Can't say I'm surprised, honestly.
AndrewW91 Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 alright this tracklist delay is taking this from "Awesome as Fuck" to "Awesome as Watching Porn" its just not the same Greatest analogy ever.
**nobodylikesyou** Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 I didn't even consider the fact the September WOULDN'T be on it... This is the problem with me. I want the rarer songs on the DVD, but I don't want them to replace the staples like Minority or WMUWSE or American Idiot or whatever. Why can't we just get the whole set? I thought the DVD was the TOKYO concert in full? so we will only get their rare songs. whatever they were
TheSaltOfTheEarth Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 We'll be lucky to get it by the end of this week, I think, at this point.. I remember awhile back people were arguing that it couldn't be a single cause it was too long. That has nothing to do with anything though...lol. Whoever said that forgot about Jesus of Suburbia, evidently And even 21 Guns and 21stCB are longer than AE, I believe.

Whoever said that forgot about Jesus of Suburbia, evidently And even 21 Guns and 21stCB are longer than AE, I believe. Yep. Thats exactly what I thought when I read it back when it happened. I believe I said something along those lines too.. I don't remember though. This shit probably didn't even happen. It's probably all that weed I smoked in the 60's.
TheSaltOfTheEarth Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 I thought the DVD was the TOKYO concert in full? so we will only get their rare songs. whatever they were Is it? The Tokyo concert had 2 nights, didn't it? So they have to pick and choose between those But is it a full set? People were saying that they think it'd be like 12 songs or something... I don't even know, though

Sanity Loan Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Also, what a shitty article: http://www.prefixmag.com/news/green-days-new-live-album-will-surely-not-live-up-/47722/

But, oh, oh, I have a theory! It's most probably a strategic decision from the record company, because on March 15th, Britney Spears latest album comes out, so it wouldn't be a good thing (sales wise) for AAF, so they moved it to one week later. I'm just speculating, though, so it could be that Amazon had it wrong from the begining
