james.england121 Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 I think I'd be right in saying we'd all pay £30ish for like 3CD's and a DVD, just absolutely tuns of material from throughout the tour rather than £10 for 14 tracks and a DVD. I definately pay loads for the bigger it is.

I guess we can only hope that Warner don't screw us over. It'd be an insult to the live show not to include a broard spectrum of songs

pasalaska Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 I wouldn't be too optimistic I know stupid Warner...
Armageddon Flame. Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 agreed I really hope they capture enough material from each album, not just the standard setlist with a few rarities. I guess we can only hope that Warner don't screw us over. It'd be an insult to the live show not to include a broard spectrum of songs I hope so too, as amazing as BIAB was, I don't want a version 2.0 of it, only consisting of staple songs I would love if Coming Clean or Geek Stink Breath from Manchester was on this
DecanoLP Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 The fact Billie tweeted "a ton of songs" gives me a bit hope we might get, well yeah.. a ton of songs and not only the singles and stuff like that. If there is a DVD I hope there is a chance to watch the show all the way through without any backstage material. I hate this on Bullet In A Bible although the material itself is awesome and I hope they include something similiar on this live album as well In general, I'm still not really happy about the fact they'll throw songs from different shows together. I prefer a full show so we don't have to get used to other venues and clothes. But we'll see, I'm sure it turns out really well anyway
Nickofsuburbia Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 so its basically been confirmed that there will be an audio and video part to the live album coming out so thats basically awesome as fuck!
Blond-O-Sonic Shimmer Trap Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 Warner, THIS is how to do a live boxset. Get it out on vinyl!
Guest FlirtyDutherMucker Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 Would be awesome? It WILL be awesome. It was confirmed a while ago if you didn't know Aha, I didnt know that at the time! And yes, it will Bring it on!
CzechIdiot Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 I am curios if its going be something like BIAB
final remedy Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 In general, I'm still not really happy about the fact they'll throw songs from different shows together. I prefer a full show so we don't have to get used to other venues and clothes. But we'll see, I'm sure it turns out really well anyway I think it's a good way to choose the best/ funniest/ most interesting performance of each song plus I'm really curious which longview version they gonna choose. But as said before BIAB was great, but I hope the choice which song to include will be less "mainstream" this time as I really like songs off the old albums too
Alan86 Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 I think people are over exaggerating the amout of say Warner has on what Green Day releases. Im fully sure Green Day have a massive say on what songs they want on the live album. The whole American Idiot tour was mainly about the songs from American Idiot and a handfull of other songs. Bullet in a Bible reflects that perfectly. The 21st Century Breakdown Tour has had much broader setlists, with lots of songs from many different eras and im sure the new upcoming live album will reflect that too
Marki. Posted October 23, 2010 Posted October 23, 2010 ^ yeah I'm a little bit behind on this, but I was like 'aaaaaaah no way ' when I heard Mike saying there'll most likely be a DVD I knew that they somehow recorded the whole tour, it'd be weird if they didn't. I don't really care if it'll be just a live album but DVD would be absolutely amazing =) I hope they'll try to represent as many countries as possible with a song...
pasalaska Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 I hope there is lots of Mike. I hope there's lots of Muh-tee-kaw and Freese.
Anja Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 I hope they put as much backstage material on there as they did on BIAB. Sometimes, I turn on the dvd just to see the backstage stuff
Nickofsuburbia Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 i hope they expand the DVD with more songs than Bullet in the Bible i really like the backstage stuff (especially the jokes and stupid stuff) but i think the actual concert is more impoortant
LouLou Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 I hope they put as much backstage material on there as they did on BIAB. Sometimes, I turn on the dvd just to see the backstage stuff Agreed Sometimes I enjoy watching the back stage stuff more than the concert footage. Not that I wouldn't love it anyway, but I would love it so much more if there were extra stuff, rather than just music.
BrickOfSelfControl1995 Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 so excited for this. i'd love for them to release another live dvd/cd. Shit needs to happen now! lol
Burnout98 Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 I hope that they put Cigarettes and Valentines on it and that other new song people have called Olivia or something like that. That would be sweet, also if they put other stuff on it that we never hear anymore at their live shows like their older songs. I think they'll do it Bullet in a Bible style where they put a CD and DVD with it.
Katarina. Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 I thought Billie Joe sort of confirmed Cigarettes and Valentines was going to be put on the live record? That's what he said at one of those shows..
Tomcat20 Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 I could imagine that they put the World Stage footage on a possibile live DVD. Since it's going to be released as one day movie in European theatres.
Isabel Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 Just watching the Paradise City video on Kerrang, would love if GD had something like that on the DVD. Especially travelling to the various cities. Or even just to release a video like that
GuitarPunk94 Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 they should take one different song from each concert of their european summer stadium tour 2010 and some concerts of america on their live fucking album ^^
