Katarina. Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 I'm off to bed now. Hopefully the tracklist will be posted by the time I wake up. Like we said earlier.. it won't run away.. Fingers crossed it will be as awesome as I think it will be.
Laura! Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 I have to say it... That trailer was awesome as fuck! :woot:
Blond-O-Sonic Shimmer Trap Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 I have to say it... That trailer was awesome as fuck! :woot: banned! I feel like I'm setting myself up for disappointment by waiting on this and checking the thread for updates only for it to have like a 17 song set and "extras" being Cigarettes and Valentines and When It's Time or something like that.
deadair Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 At this point I don't know how to feel about this live album because to me it's all going to depend on the CD tracklisting which hasn't been released yet. I don't really care about the DVD at this point because I have nothing to compare it to. A family friend burned me Bullet In A Bible without the DVD, so I haven't seen the video of it. But my dream version of the "Awesome As Fuck" CD would include a live version of "The Static Age", ANY pre-Dookie song, and/or the acoustic encore from the 2010 Denver show that included the single performance of "Olivia". Seriously, I'll be happy with the tracklisting if they put any pre-Dookie song (not counting Welcome To Paradise) on the CD.

XxRedundantCastaway86xX Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 Sick trailer! I'm starting to get really anxious for this, especially since I just found out that Billie played Redundant acoustically at the end of the second Japan gig the DVD's of. If that's on the DVD, I'll be able to die happy. And oh yeah, where the fuck is the tracklist!?
Angela. Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Wait, why are you guys waiting on the setlist? Is it supposed to be released soon, or is it just a guess since the trailer's now been released? Sorry, I haven't exactly been keeping up with this. I just know that the trailer was released today. Now, I know the DVD is from the Japan concert. But is the CD supposed to be a collection of songs from different concerts on the tour from both '09 and '10, or is the CD just going to be the same songs on the DVD, just like on BIAB? If it's the first option... All cross-able limbs are being crossed that Drama Queen from Pittsburgh is on the CD.

It's supposedly being released today. And the CD is going to be a collection of songs from different stops on the 21CB tour, not audio from the DVD like BIAB, it's its own thing. Hope that helps.

Laura! Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 I love at the end of the trailer where it says "2010 Reprise Records bitches!"
XxRedundantCastaway86xX Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 That completely answers my questions. Thanks. no problem
Freezing Melons Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Seeing Green Day in concert in 2010 was easily the best day of my life. Spent the day with the girl of my dreams, even though i' never got her haha, and my best friends. So great. can't wait to relive.
Trina Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude. post the damn tracklist. mmmkay? I hope they include the places the songs are taken from in it!
Blond-O-Sonic Shimmer Trap Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Ugh no I don't want Drama Queen to be on it, at all! That song has the worst lyric I have ever heard "she's old enough to bleed now" I'd like Whatsername or Redundant to be on the acoustic part but it's pretty likely they'll just have Wake Me Up and Time Of Your Life, which will probably come from Denver to explain the title for those who don't know it. It hasn't been confirmed there will only be 1 CD, by any proper source, has there? (this doesn't count Amazon then, they're as clueless as us) so a full 30+ song set is still technically possible since that's the only way a live album for this tour could possibly do it any justice?

That would be sweet, a two CD set. But 2 CDs plus a DVD?! I don't want to get my hopes up.
Laura! Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Maybe they haven't finished the tracklist yet so they released the trailer instead.
XxRedundantCastaway86xX Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Or maybe the people over at greenday.com are a bunch of dingleberries.
Iminyourcoffeemaker Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 If Green Day makes it, I will love it.
