Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 If it's gonna be as lame (talking about the editing) as the Green Day World Stage in the cinema thing.. then I'll be a bit disappointed. But still. It's Green Day. It's live footage. It's great quality. It's awesome. I know I'm going to love it I don't think that will happen, World Stage was edited by MTV, and while I don't exactly think of Green Day's management as the best thing ever, I'm sure they'll do a twenty times better job of editing than MTV Like Hermione said, I hope it won't be a small amount of songs on the DVD since they're passing it off as "bonus DVD" everywhere... But it could also just be a trick to ask more money for it, because "it's omg a bonus dvd, surely you'd pay more for that". They used to refer to BIAB as a "bonus DVD" too I believe I think it should be fine -- It seems as if I am slightly excited by the trailer

taybay Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 The more I think about it, the more I don't care about where the DVD is, or how long it is. BIAB was in England, halfway across the world from me and I still loved it. I really love songs when they're played live, and it'll be cool to hear some of the songs they never play live like 2000 LYA on the CD. Especially if they're coming from all different places...at least I think (and hope) they are. The trailer looks sweet anyway. I'm happy they finally came out with something like that. I'm pumped.

BombingwithBillieJoe Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 Shhh I'm being optimistic! Yeah, I've stayed away from all the Japanese audio/video once it was announced. The skeleton guy did look pretty cool! Haha, I'd love to be optimistic, but then I'd hate to get it and start watching it all psyched about backstage stuff and then there's a two minute pre-show type deal. It would break my little heart. But of course I'd get over it fast because I'm seeing a live DVD of Green Day.... I will consider myself "optimistic within reason" for the time being I'm so tired of not being able to talk about this with any of my friends and/or family. My parents would absolutely ban me from buying it if they new the title (I'm sneaking it into the house via my huge-ass purse), and none of my friends like Green Day and get irritated when I talk about them. And my cousin wasn't impressed with the title so he's very 'meh' about it. But then I come here and everyone's excited and I get happy again Also... I have errands to run and every time I go to leave my little notification box says there's a new post here and I always have to come check. I've been 'leaving' for the last 30 minutes
