But, I would love to hear 21st Century Breakdown straight through. Lucky folks at the Fox Theater. Even thought this won't happen, I now have something else to dream about.

St. Banana Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 The one that's crying out is 21CB - all of it, for real, without any party stuff or crowd-pleasing, just this amazing concept album in all of its intensity. I agree, there are so many songs off that album that are amazing both live and not live, and they are just being discarded, most likely never to be played more than once..if at all.

Yes please! It would be amazing to see that. When 21st CB came out I assumed there'd be things like Storytellers and the odd live show that they did with American Idiot where we'd see the whole thing - 21st CB is the perfect album for it so I thought of course we'll see them play it in full. I'm really surprised they haven't done anything like that to showcase the album properly. If I had to pick one of the rest of their albums to see in full it'd definitely be Nimrod. So much variety! It'd be like a rollercoaster ride.
