Billie Joe to play St. Jimmy in the musical

and i know it's impolite in the theater, but of course I would absolutely LOVE to see or hear recorded footage of at least part of his performance.

Acting and performing are so different. This requires him to sing his own songs and jump all over the place. I think he'll do great. I really hope he blows it out of the water, just because some people have some reservations about it.

I feel kinda weird about this. I mean, I don't know if Billie has been thinking about being in the show for a while, but because of the fact that the show's really starting to die out, it kind of seems like a publicity stunt to get more people to see it. :/

But, again, he did write the song and therefore has the best idea of who and what St. Jimmy should be, so who knows.

Apparently they've been planning this for months. I'm pretty sure the band knew as soon as Billie did, I doubt they have any reservations about it.
