Nope, san francisco is techincally the south bay but nobody calls it that. you have to go over the bay bridge to get to the east bay. honestly i think that minus the northern half of telegraph avenue by UC berkeley (where theres a lot of yuppie looking college kids) and oakland hills there is nothing worthy in the east bay. oakland is a shithole from what i've seen.
