what would you do without Green Day

I can survive without listening to them, they're my favourite band but there is other music to listen to and other things to talk about. My life doesn't revolve around the band.

I can go a week or so without listening to them. I just get obsessive over Papa Roach or A7X instead for a while. But in the end I always end up listening to them again. Its not like if I stop listening to them, there music is gonna disappear, its gonna be there when i want to listen to it again

I wonder if we'd realise it, though, 'cause they wouldn't be there, so we wouldn't know what we'd be missing.

I doubt I could last a day without listening to them, even if I wanted to.

Sometimes I feel like I can't escape from them!!! I hear them on the radio while I'm at work almost every single day; and when I don't, I always hear songs that remind me of them for some reason or another. It's kinda scary.

For a day, definitely. For a week, I'm pretty sure that wouldn't be a problem either. For the rest of my life, no.

There's other music than Green Day, there's other topics to talk about than Green Day. Most theys days (what the fuck) I wind up listening at least one song of theirs one way or another, but they're definitely not all I listen to, there's more than enough other music I listen to. I wouldn't like it at all if I couldn't ever listen to them anymore, or for weeks in a row or something. But who knows, even that might change. You don't have to listen to a band all the time in order to love them/their music.

there are two possibilities:

1. if i've never met Green Day i'd be someone else

2. if someone took Green Day away from me i'd probably shoot myself (jk) but i'd definitely feel depressed for all the time

And if they never existed? I would probably be different. I wouldn't have the friends I have today by talking about Green Day and sharing the same interests in music. I couldn't even imagine how life would be without Green Day.

Well, i'm pretty obsessed with them, i'm not gonna lie and say "yeah i'd do pretty good without them" cuz i wouldn't. I do listen to other bands as well, and I can go without listening to them for a day, but more than that? no. I tried once and it ended up with me running home in the middle of class to get my ipod. When it comes to talking about them, I know how annoying it is when people just won't stop talking about the Jonas Brothers, so I try not to talk about them to my friends who don't really care much about them. But I do have friends who are Green Day fans too, so of course then we have our Green Day related conversations. (:

true story, before green day Marianas trench was my favorite band

and as for talking about them. none of my friends like them , so i get my GD fix here. And i could probably only go a day or 2 without listening to them ^^

Hmm. If there was no Green Day, I prolly would have some other band to obsess over. But that's weird to think about. I go through phases with other bands, but I don't love them like I do GD. I'm currently really into Mumford & Sons.
