Here is the video I took of the talk-back on Wednesday night. I cut it off right before they took questions from the audience, thus missing Billie's 'cunt' moment. Sigh. Enjoy!

I hope I did that right. Shit, I did not. Here are the individual links:

I do what I can ;)

I must acknowledge that it's the one year anniversary since I saw the show in Berkeley for the first time. http://tinyurl.com/2wzpeu5

Thank you for this one. David mentions my blog and my interview with Dawn. Thank you, David! And thanks, Abbey, for telling me about the video!

Yes, thank you, I understand. Oy, I never really thought Green Day fans would be so moralistic about this stuff. To each his own.

Only when it comes to the musical. :)

Hmm... those videos are only the Q&A with the cast and crew. I wanted to hear the audience questions again. It's cool, thanks! :)

It's called "second acting it" here in NYC. Many people in NY actually go into theaters and see the second acts of plays by just walking in. I've never done it, but I know people who have. Consider the time after the show an intermission and walk in. It can be done. I did it on Tuesday. But then again, I bought tickets for the other two nights and Sunday, so I don't feel guilty about it at all, personally. Especially since I've paid to see the show 10 times now...

Exactly.

I don't understand all the distress about just walking into the Q&A if you've bought a ticket and didn't see the musical. Seriously, who gives a fuck?

Hell, I don't even think it's a big deal if someone wanted to just sneak in and not pay at all --- I mean, sure, it's breaking the law and all, but Green Day themselves don't mind a bit of law breaking now and again, so long as it's not really hurting anyone. ;)

 I wasn't. Just correcting you because you sounded like people can just walk in. The person you were answering wanted to just go in and didn't mention if they were buying a ticket or not. No need to exaggerate.

Ah, my bad --- Textual tone can be a little tough to convey/receive online. :shy:

Grrr. Guys, help! Guitar Center wants around $150 to put lacquer on my guitar - they won't just do one area, they have to do the entire guitar.

Has anyone ever done this to their guitar? I thought it might be as easy as putting clear nail polish over the signature. No? GuitarFail on my part. I really don't want to have to send it away OR pay $150. On the other hand, Billie signed it on a place where my hand doesn't brush while strumming, so maybe I don't have to pay for the re-lacquering?

Oh, and I might go to the Q&A tonight... not entirely sure I want to leave my apartment or not. But hey, I've paid to see it many times too, so don't hate me! If I go I'll bring my FlipCam and try to sit close.

I'm finally done chopping the clips up... trying to export them onto my desktop to upload them... I think my Macbook is going to crash with them though. I taped everything.

I hope the dude who got Billie to sign his guitar was the GDC'er who was here!

Shitttt, the talkback tonight was amazing.

Lauren got to ask Billie her question! She asked him why he decided to do the musical when in '04 he seemed so against it. He was like "oh Michael Mayer came to me and asked if he could do it etc" (which doesn't REALLY answer the question but w/e) and then said the audience was almost as loud as her tie dye shirt. Or something like that.

Where did you hear that little tiddlybit? :sherlock:

Well, i got his autograph at the end of the talkback and I thanked him for everything, and making the tour this summer so amazing. Didn't get to tell him everything I wanted to, but still pretty damn cool.

Oh, and after it all ended, Tanya, Lauren, and I had a nice long chat with Larry Livermore. :woot:
