During the recording of American Idiot one of the many things they did while messing around and being creative in the studio was make an album's worth of dirty Christmas songs Too bad none of them ever saw the light of day. I'd pay good money to hear them.

So if they, and by they I mean largly Tre, did that and shared it with just us, that would be sweet. :eyebrow: An official release Green Day Christmas album? As in Green Day uploading them playing a bunch of Christmas songs (like they did a couple of years ago with those phone messages) just for the heck of it, hell yeah! Basically this. If it was an actual studio album with just christmas songs, it's be weird to listen to it all year long. Unless they'd release a non-christmas album right after it =D Wouldn't mind that. I loved their cover of "Santa Clause is coming to town" and the other one that goes like "rocking around the christmas tree" (I forgot what it's called). So yeah, I'd be curious to hear some more christmas songs of theirs. Not just covers though but also some songs of their own.
