norcalgreendayfan Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 this was probably very hard for him Yeah I can only imagine how hard it had to be for him
jetsrule128 Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 its ending on tv now but it will continue online maybe billie will be on again
Smbcf Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Yeah, each person involved is contributing to the show in their own way. Some are talking and some are just performing for whatever reasons. He's done his bit for the cause by performing. Yeah, and what a performance it was It must of been hard for him.
ParadoxAndPlaid Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Come on now guys, give it a rest. This show isn't about Billie Joe. It's about people coming together and doing their part for a cause. He's done his part, and that's enough.
norcalgreendayfan Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Billie Joe has never been the best public speaker. It would probably be even more difficult to speak at something like this. He expressed himself in the way he does best. Through song. Yeah totally and he expressed himself perfectly tonight.
norcalgreendayfan Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Billie's performance was so touching. I don't know how he held himself together. I don't want to keep watching this but I can't change the channel. It's 6 months to the day today since I lost my dad to esophageal cancer and it's really emotional for me. Ohhh man I'm really sorry for your loss damn this disease for taking way to many people that we love.
Tubbie Head Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 I guess if billie was really there.. he would join right now

St3veHimself Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 That was a great performance. I thought he'd cry but he held himself together real well. Anybody else notice his voice start to get shaky, like he was going to cry?
Peace and Rainbows Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 I guess if billie was really there.. he would join right now i wonder where he is

lizziebix Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Missed seeing it live so thanks to those that posted the video(s) and the screen caps. I thought he did a wonderful job considering how emotionally he must be feeling today. And best of all, that he choose to participate in such a wonderful program. Now, let's all STAND UP 2 CANCER! and go donate (if you can). There are so many of us on here and in our real lives that we've known that have been lost to cancer or are currently suffering from this horrible disease. Let's be supportive. Because that's what the show is really about. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone here that has lost someone to cancer.
