Angela. Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Billie's performance was beautiful. I was in tears at the first line.
nimrod310 Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Even though i new it was going to be a solo performance, I still expected to hear Tre's Drums come in on the second verse Same here! It was strange not hearing the drums! Even when he does WMUWSE acoustic at the concerts, Tre and Mike eventually come out. I imagined them though This was such an amazing performance. Billie couldn't have sounded any better I want to hug him too!!
heeygloria Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 just watched the performance , i'll admit , im in tears , that was too beautiful . it must have been so hard for him though. hugs for Billie . <3
Schlappy Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 just watched it! billie joe did great naturally. my parents watched it too and they have never seen him without eyeliner or spiky black hair so they barely recognized him. them my mum goes "ooo hes handsome" and my dad goes "he cleans up nice". now both my parents have crushes on billie joe
Alan86 Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 I heard them in my head Me too. Adam Sandler seemed to get really confused or nervous before introducing Billie. He stumbled over alot of his words Live TV is tough
ParadoxAndPlaid Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 did anyone record it? I think Bastard Of 1967 did, that or he screen capped it. Not sure wich.
Jimmy Strummer Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 That was an excellent performance. Billie was on the top of his game, musically and emotionally. Good to see him with a different guitar/amp combo. Man, the sound that man can get from a Fender Telecaster plugged into a dinky little Fender combo amp!
Vrock09 Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Oh god Natasha Bedingfield. Brb gonna vomit. Bring back Billie! That cheered me up a bit!
Tubbie Head Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 That was amazing <3 But I didn't cry at all, am I the only one? You know if he's going to appear again? telling a story or something like that? I didn't cry during his performance.. But I did tear up a little bit during some parts of the show.
Joy of suburbia. Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Billie's performance was beautiful. I was in tears at the first line. Me too. He looked like he wanted to cry and he held it in...I'm hugging him in spirit. And now I can't stop crying cause all I can do is think about my uncle who died from cancer like, 3 years ago. I'm a fucking wreck.
Laura! Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Me too. He looked like he wanted to cry and he held it in...I'm hugging him in spirit. And now I can't stop crying cause all I can do is think about my uncle who died from cancer like, 3 years ago. I'm a fucking wreck. Awwe, Joy.
Robin105 Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 I didn't cry either. I loved the performance. He was trying so hard to hold back his tears. You could tell in his voice.
XxRedundantCastaway86xX Posted September 11, 2010 Author Posted September 11, 2010 That was a great performance for a great cause. Really touching.
Smbcf Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Oh, so that guy's supposed to be impersonating Richard Branson? I was wondering who the fuck he was. I thought he had something, y'know, wrong with him I feel all mega depressed now after that.
Moffie Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 I thought this thing was commercial-free...Why am I getting commercials?
Conspiracy. Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 I think Bastard Of 1967 did, that or he screen capped it. Not sure wich. Oh good, thanks.
Vrock09 Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Me too. He looked like he wanted to cry and he held it in...I'm hugging him in spirit. And now I can't stop crying cause all I can do is think about my uncle who died from cancer like, 3 years ago. I'm a fucking wreck. *hugs* It's okay Joy, we're with you. My grandma passed of lung cancer, and the day after she passed GD came out with WMUWSE..
NothingButYourImagination Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Man, good performance Billie! I agree, I'm hugging him spiritually now. I'm sure Adie is somewhere there, I don't think he'd be there alone. Y'know, they're gonna have the performances of this show available on iTunes so we can have this yay!
