The setlist was incredible in my opnion, I wish I was there But I shouldn't really complain, because I already had the time of my life. I know excactly how you feel. Seeing Green Day live is just so overwhelming and full of epicness that you can't even describe it. I also met a bunch of cool people at the concerts I went to and it's just a nice feeling that you can share your opinions about Green Day with them and they seem to understand and appreciate them.

Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 awesome review dude all the aussie mentions gave me shivers - i still cant believe im living this.....and ive been to heaps of shows now, but denver was DEFINITELYone of the best. The only thing I would say is, and it's not just you that does this, it is a bit unfair to generalise that 'tweens' don't know the older material. Infact i would say that at wembley, the most enthusiastic people in the audience were aged 15-20 and there were a ton of older people around me who didn't know half the songs. the big crowd on stage thing irritates me. its not that theyre young at all... its just beyond evident that some of the people up there, whilst theyre groping billie joe, have never listened to 2000 light years away before in their life.

He took 3 pics of me up there!! LOL one turned out really bad cause he was standing to close, but the other 2 were AWESOME!!!

I cryed when i heard it live.. and for the rest of the acoustic set! that feeling at the end of a show is like no other felling in the world, it just pure magic. but some how.. you brought it back alive for me. Great writeup, Matt. So, so so so glad you had such a great time at the show, and such an unbelievably memorable setlist! I saw two shows this tour (Camden and Jiffy Lube) with some setlist rarities like iVLG! at Camden and It's Fuck Time at Jiffy Lube, but OMG to get Cigs & Vals twice during the main set and then Olivia in the acoustic encore? Wow, I am thrilled for you as well as INSANELY jealous. Then reading your recap brought me right back to the shows I was at, and left me with a big, big shit-eating grin on my face. Thanks for that!!

I've been lucky to have had all the amazing experiences I've had - I'm really happy that these guys were able to have such an awesome experience together. I loved reading the review, and looking at photos on Facebook. It's weird how attached you can get to some people you've only talked to online, and get to the point where you're excited for their adventures. It's awesome when you get to share to experiances with other people who you know are appreciating the experience as much as you are.

Nobody likes a fan who just goes up to get a handful of billie, but at the same time, if you were up there, you may be too overwhelmed to sing along.. So who knows maybe they did know the words... To be pulled up you'd have to be rift at the front anyway, and only the hardcore fans get there in the small hours to be there.
