Y'know, I'm probably gonna get a lot of shit for this, and I'm not saying I'm not happy they played them, but they're not that amazing. They're decent songs, sure, but you can see why with C&V they decided to start over and I'm really glad they did, because the basic ideas are obvious in that song buttaking into account AI / 21CB with that song as kind of a starting point, it's obvious how much they expanded on those ideas and turned them into something amazing, rather than a mediocre song which I feel C&V is.

Sorry if I offended anyone with that, don't get me wrong I'm really happy to hear them. I'm just glad they decided to push themselves all those years ago because I think if they had released C&V as an album instead of AI, things would be really different for them now.

Nah, I agree with you, mainly. I really like it, but I'm definitely glad they turned C&V at least (idk when or for what Olivia was written) down in favour of making American Idiot.

I'd still like to hear more C&V songs, because I do like it. It sounds a lot like an opener song, the first song of the album. Which would make sense, considering it has the same name as the album.

I still think Cigs&Valentines sounds very familiar. I don't know why. I'm fairly sure I don't know that song that was posted earlier that was similar to it, so that's not it either.

Olivia is a little wordy for me. It almost sounds like a folk song.
