Btw thank you to the person who posted the links THANK YOU!!! & oh my god, it would be AMAZING the studio versions of all these songs we've been hearing for a while from soundchecks & shows... I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE LIVE ALBUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Interesting he used the 'Red alert is the color..' not only in this song, but in American Eulogy as well.. Also phrases such as 'Take a ride' and 'The great divide'...which are in American Eulogy.....it would be so strange if AE developed from C&V...but i doubt it.

My mum's called Olivia and one of her favourite pastimes is making fun of Billie Joe. I find it hilarious he's written a love song about her hahaha your mother MUST listen this song then! xD

Really getting a Dylanesque vibe from Olivia - hope we can hear a full version of it on an official release! "The city's in ruins but there's a flower in the crack of the streets," is such a pretty line too! Cigarettes & Valentines is good too and I'm really glad we can finally hear it, but it's pretty by-the-numbers GD, they could write a song like that in their sleep. Still, the most by the numbers GD song is still a GOOD tune, and I'm digging Tre's drumming!

I'm dying to hear the original versions! Maybe they're waiting til the end of the tour for the release of the live album, maybe to have a little of each show... Imagine hours and hours of Green Day concerts!

Yeah, I guess, but maybe they'll play the full version in other show...No one knows! I don't really think the lack of band is a big deal, since Good Riddance is always just BJ, and I'm almost sure they'll put that on the live record!

True we don't know yet what other "new" songs they might play going forward and a full version of Olivia, with or without band, would be awesome. But Good Riddance as an example is odd since the song was recorded and released before Billie started doing it solo at gigs. just saying.

Well they played it twice in a row which probably is because they wanted to be able to mix the two recordings together so that it sounds much better... And billie used two different guitars which leads me to believe they would be mixing the two guitar tracks (for the live album) since that's what people usually do in the studio... Don't know for sure but that would make sense, and I don't see why they would play it and NOT put it on the album! But now I REALLY can't wait for this album!!!!!
