ash.loves.gd Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Castaway, especially when stopped at a stoplight..... It's when the other people in the cars stare at me
BrokenHome Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 I freaking love it when Green Day comes on the radio. I practically broke my speakers when When I Come Around came on once. And rolled the windows down, just to be obnoxious
ScatteredPictures Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 oh, i forgot 21st Century Breakdown and 21 Guns. But Green day almost never gets played. Only BOBD, WMUWSE and when I am lucky Good Riddance. .. That sucks... -.-
Pedestrian9394 Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Lately it's been When I Come Around. I feel like Dookie is a good driving album.
jake smith Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 i can imagine that driving along to Dookie would just be uber cool
Little Girl Little One Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 I don't drive yet (even though I should, at my age), but definitely HOLIDAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! How could it be anything but Holiday after that awesome music video?
minorty13 Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 On the highway, after dark, blasting jaded BEST THING EVER!
Wet socks traumatize me Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 I don't drive yet (even though I should, at my age), but definitely HOLIDAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! How could it be anything but Holiday after that awesome music video? YEAH ALISON! Holiday. LOUD. And. Me singing at the top of my lungs!
Sarabeth Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 I can't drive yet, but when I can the first song I want to drive to is DUI. And then I'll just have my iPod on Green Day the whole time.
newsflash777 Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 Can't drive yet, but I can see me getting fucking angry and then just jumping in my car and riding to Horseshoes or Christian's.
jake smith Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 imagine driving to the Network. i'll bet it's a real mind fuck
ScatteredPictures Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 On a sunny days its awesome to listen to Insomniac while driving
radiofriendlyunitshifter Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 I can't believe nobody actually mentioned D.U.I. This. If I could actually drive.
whatshername0303 Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 King For A Day, or every "fast" song...like Holiday or Minority
Monica. Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 Definitely Homecoming, Holiday and East Jesus Nowhere as well!
Punk-tastic32 Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 I can't remember if I said this before, but whatever. Riding on a motorcycle near sunset in Florida while listening to Nimrod is heaven on earth. The last time I did it, we were driving main roads for the fast songs, but right around Last Ride In, we were riding the slower, more curvy roads. I watched the sunset with my headphones off (forgetting to pause the music) but listening to the tail end of Haushinka up through Reject in the fading light is perfect.
M3G4N Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 When I first got my car, I played AI so much that I bought a spare copy just for my car, and even then I ended up wearing it out. Right now I loooove listening to the whole Warning album while driving. When I'm driving the 3 hour drive from my house to my college, I play Warning straight through at least twice. All the songs are perfectly sing-alongable (that's totally a word) and I never skip any songs on Warning, so it's perfect!
GreenRanger Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 Shenanigans as an album is probably the most played in my car. I can't think of a particular song though. Peacemaker has always struck me as a moving song though. I'll have to pay more attention to the Green Day and less attention to the road next time I dare to put them on. (My CD player has a bad habit of skipping randomly these days...in really bad places too, like Rock N Roll Girlfriend and Tales From Another Broken Home).
Webb_2011 Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 For me I would have to say Holiday (because of the video) and probably I Was There... Idk why but that song just sounds great in my car
Monica. Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 And the whole album of Insomniac and Warning is great to listen to while driving!
Emma H Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 i think just about any Green Day song that's fast-paced and loud is perfect to drive to. as of late though, i think 21st Century Breakdown is my go-to car cd.
