Get In The PIT!

I had seats to the Phoenix show and my cousin and I made it into the pit. Actually pretty close to the front, center stage. It was amazing!!

You don't even know how hard I tried to get down to the pit. I almost punched the security guard, Irvine is my hometown, it took me 5min to get their. I really waited to get on stage or at least the pit. But yeah, I do think Billie demands a lot of things from the crowd, He controls us!!!!

I saw them in Texas and i was in the seats a few rows behind the pit and the seats really arent for sitting cause everyone was standing the whole time

awwwwwwwwww your so fucking lucky! right before they played hitchin a ride, Billie told everyone to get up on stage and i sprinted down and climbed this fucking wire on the side of the stadge and the security let the kid in front of me go on stage but then stopped me and told me i cant and i lsot it and screamed at them. i got bad luck :[

At the Toronto show he did. The security guys must have been saying no though because Billie yelled something like "STOP FUCKING AROUND!" at them. I'm not sure how many actually made it though because it didn't seem to get any tighter or rougher or anything.

You seriously can't do that again without me! Mike laughed at my Tight Wad Hill sign in Dublin and Billie Joe dismissed it in Mainz...as much as I love that video from LA last year, I NEED to be there when they play it again!!

yeah! we bought them from the dollar store and brought markers to the show, when we saw the wristbands were purple we coloured them and it worked

I have only had seats for Green Day twice (out of 41 shows), and both times Billie Joe demanded we get down there, and I was able run past security. Just wanted to know because I have Orchestra Row Q which isn't bad, but I just CAN'T watch GD in a seat!

Since you've been to so many shows you should just stay in your damn seat and let someone else be in the pit.

Perfect. And YES 41 shows. I am also 28 years old & have seen them every tour since 1994.

dude you are like so lucky, some people on here haven't even seen them once. So like everyone's saying I don't think sitting down for one should cause you too much hassle.

I've been to two and was seated for both (first time it was the only tickets left and I was one row from the back, and second time I had my 76 yr old grandma with me, I don't think she wanted to mosh that particular night) and I have never heard Billie say that. Seating doesn't bother me, I was just over the moon to be there. But that isn't got to stop me trying in the future
