jtdscape Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 I bet they won't include 1000 Hours or Platypus though I'd love for one of my song requests to be included. Yeah unfortunately I agree. If they want the live album to sell they will want to put on songs that everyone knows.
CaesarSalad Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 don't hurt me, but i wasn't exactly a huge fan of BIAB. the awesomesauce of each and every song was ruined by the sound of thousands of screaming twelve year olds.
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Yeah unfortunately I agree. If they want the live album to sell they will want to put on songs that everyone knows. Which means that if it happens there's a fair chance they'll include September yay

Aha this made me lol so much But on a kind of un-related note, the day you go to a Green Day show and there are no 12 year olds is the day you start worrying.
jtdscape Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Which means that if it happens there's a fair chance they'll include September yay Yeah most likely It will be interesting to see as time progresses.
blitzkriegdeb Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Sweet. Hopefully it'll be a DVD/CD type thing like BIAB. With interviews from the band and such.
fatherotti Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 I hope they make off of the Homecoming show....that show will be more epic than all the others

gdpony Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 if they do make a DVD, it must be better than BIAB. Like... I don't know, it must include the rare songs played that weren't included in BIAB include things like someone singing longview, and a kid getting saved, are we the waiting, the stage dive during KYE etc... rare footage that they didnt include in BIAB
LetItBeHappy Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 include things like someone singing longview, and a kid getting saved, are we the waiting, the stage dive during KYE etc... rare footage that they didnt include in BIAB they played homecoming at milton keynes, ffs, and they didn't include it

I guess I agree, which is why I'm hoping that (if they release a live album, and if it has live footage as well), that there will be more rarely played songs on it, although that's unlikely. they played homecoming at milton keynes, ffs, and they didn't include it Yes, this depresses me. I guess the DVD is already pretty long, but still...
Akasha Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 I don't know if this happend in other cities, but in Montreal there were signs all over when entering the venue saying that by being on the premises, you allowed your image to be used, because that show could be recorded.
gmcloughlin Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Ok I know it says "possible" but.............. OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG EXCITEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God I miss this feeling Billie better mean they recorded the whole 21st CB tour, not just the North American Tour A recording from Marlay Park would be........

Yes, this depresses me. I guess the DVD is already pretty long, but still... The unfortunate thing is that the reason they won't include the rare songs is because they would be trying to sell it to more than just the die hard Green Day fans. Your average kid who sort of cares a little bit about Green Day won't care if they played Armatage Shanks live or not.

Yep this was at the two shows that I saw this month. Not sure about that though since it could be just for the big screens.

I'll be happy with either European or North American on the live album. Because if it's from the European tour then I can get teary eyed thinking that I was there, and if it's the North American tour then I have a live Green Day album (yeah, sometimes I like live versions better). And if it's both then I'll just explode.
Comedy & Tragedy Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Now guys, they said possible, we can't get our hopes up..... .....too late :runaround: :runaround: I can't wait to hear more about it If it's just the US tour, then that would be a bit pissy. I'd love to hear some Marlay stuff in there, as well as the rest of Europe, and the world. Either way, looking forward to whatever comes up about it True...Guhhh, I would hate to have my voice on a Green Day CD though This. I'm still scared of any audio being released of Marlay

gdpony Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 they played homecoming at milton keynes, ffs, and they didn't include it yeah and it only had 14 tracks, but we have to wait and see how this one turns out
Pedestrian9394 Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Yeah, which is why I said I doubt it'll happen. Yeah. It really sucks. I think they should release 2 versions. One for people who really care about Green Day, and one for people who just want to listen to WMUWSE. xD

petros Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 I believe that as billie said that they recorded all the shows then it will be a CD/DVD with footage from more than one concerts.Or maybe he means that they will have to pic one? Well I have no idea I just hope to be followed by a DVD as well and I will be fine!
Tre_Gina Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 I really hope this does happen, would be awesome!
