Possible new Green Day live album

That's fucking exciting!

At first I didn't really get what he means with 'a ton of songs'. In my opinion that's probably a hint that they make a collaborated live album using songs from different concert. That's maybe another reason why they've been recording all of their shows of the tour. I don't think they'll record all shows if they just release a live album of one concert.

Anyway, we have to cool down firstly. He just said possible.

we got the special red shirt though! and both tre/mike joined him at the end for the final applause..only other place that happened was wembley stadium (which was their biggest gig ever)

But we had the first time red pants, and the opener of the second leg. Although the joining for the final applause is kinda, yeah, you got a point...but that was after Good Riddance, not after September. So you can go have Good Riddance on it

And I was at Pinkpop and it's mah song played on mah request at Rotterdam and since then played EEEVERYEWHERE

there's no official announcement as it takes time to plan these things, they'd have to sit around..come up with the rough idea/setlist, how many discs, etc..hence the reason we just get a tweet for now.

this makes me wonder why nobody's decided to set up a good video camera...pointing directly at the big screens..and leave it like that for the whole show, for any of the shows...(more doable for someone in seats)

would give pretty good quality video..(and audio obviously)

or why nobody that works for the venue has tried modifying the video output to save themselves a copy or whatever........pity i don't work there

That would be incredible.

Which is why I'm hoping (that if they release concert footage with this new live album), that there will be footage from different shows because not only would that be awesome, but there are so many special moments.

but the chances are..he's not gonna post a tweet like that, on the official band profile to all those followers and not mean something by it. it'd be different if it was a throw away comment in a live interview or whatever...

they havent released a live release in 5 years....a new one is pretty sorely overdue.

anyway it's my opinion it will happen, (what else are they gonna do with all the free time between now and god knows when?), it'll be awesome , and we'll all be pretty happy with it
