Are you a Green Day freak among your friends?

Most of my friends don't like GD or only "like" them when they have a single that gets on the radio a lot.

People who know me know I REALLY REALLY like GD, but I don't think that anyone has seen just how much I love them...

But to my friends its "she's obsessed with that 'Green Day' band, like really bad...everything else if Green Day, Green Day, Green Day" Oh, they don't even know the half of it :eyebrow:

When it comes to Green Day, all of my friends know how much i love them and how much they mean to me, none of them are remotely close to loving them as much as me, let alone liking them at all. I found them on my own and love them on my own, and thats okay i like being selfish and hogging them all to myself

no, I hardly talk about green day with my friends/schoolmates. and that's because 1) they don't give a damn about them 2) they know nothing about them. So that's like talking to a wall, sometimes even to a mocking wall. But its okay I don't mind, its actually better this way, I wouldn't enjoy talking about green day with them.

I don't talk about Green Day related things too much with them because it's annoying when people harp on and on about the same thing.

Yeah I'm the same, alot of people I am/was friends with don't really like Green Day so I never really talk about them. I don't think they realise how obsessed I am, they'd probably be a bit surprised if they knew There's a few of my friends who kind of know how much I love Green day and it doesn't bother them.

a lot of my friends growing up were either theatre, choir, or sports people, and always saw me as the rock star of the group and a lot of green day comments go along with that for sure in our group, but most of them dig green day too so it's rad haha

At my school during lunch, the Green Day fans pretty much have their own table

So as far as people around here go, yes, I am the Green Day freak lol.

Yeah, I'm definitely the Green Day freak. I can hardly mention them or I'll get the 'obsessed' thrown at me. And I barely ever talk about Green Day offline, and still 99.99% of it goes on GDC. Apparently the small fragments of the Green Day thing in my life on facebook is enough for them to realize I like them a whole lot I never even bring the subject up, it's always my friends who bring it up xD

There's one other guy who's a fan as well, but I don't see him *that* often, and he's not a huge fan or anything. But at least it's someone who I can talk to about when the next album might be released and what AAF's name is and where it comes from and all. I think I might have kind of frightened him and the girl who sat with us when I started about that. When talking about Green Day I always start talking really fast because I'm excited, 'cause it pretty much never occurs I can talk about Green Day offline

I know a few guys who like mostly AI and 21CB and the old hits and one guy who realy likes all their major label albums, but refuses, when u ask or tell him to get BIAB, 1039 and Kerplunk my other mates know I love them and my parents, I dont think they realise how great I think they are

Pretty much yeah, my sister loves them too though so we're a pair of freaks . Two blokes who work at our local Greggs and who went to the Wembley show refer to us as "the Green Day girls" when we go in there so I think we qualify

I do know a few people who like them quite a lot but no one else who LOVES them. Since I can already obsess over them with my sister, talk about them with my brother who's also a big fan, AND go on GDC and Facebook, I don't really have any need to discuss them with anyone else.

My best friend and mom are big green day fans along with me, but not as big as me and if it wasn't for me, neither of them would like green day like they do lol other then them, my other friends just think i'm crazy.
